I looked over my build again and realized I can still max all attacks except Crucifix Wind, max Suppression Amulet, and get all the magic up to 1 Black Dog by 50. Don't know why I really want max Phoenix Hammer. There's something really satisfying about jumping on and impaling things with a scythe.
It's just not worth it past level 5. Too much fixed damage, and physical Exos are all about having at the very least a +10 weapon (preferaably axe), which means tons of weapon attack behind each hit. Like Mark said, it's best used as an escape, or to abuse the invincibility on the last few frames when you come crashing down. If you want Phoenix Hammer like damage to all enemies you're better off spamming Giant Weapon Launcher or smacking the enemy with a Double Uppercut juggle. 180% weapon strength for 6 MP? Yes please.
