Question about breeding.

Say for instance that ive got a foreign female eevee, and im going to be using that to try using Masuda's method to obtain a shiny eevee. now here comes my question.

Said attempted bred eevee, id want it to have a nature that favored Atk. Right now the foreign eevee has an Adamant nature, and it "Likes to run." What would i need to do to try and complete this goal?

You'd need an Everstone on the female Eevee, but that only works with two Pokemon from the same language version. All you can do is hope.

Is there a reason why the everstone thing wont work?

Masuda's method is still a 1 in 2048 chance, and getting the right nature is a 1 in 25 chance without an Everstone. RNG or Pokesav, or just get REALLY lucky.

The Everstone thing only works with two Pokemon from the same language version. It was done this way so that you can't have the benefit of your preferred nature and an increased chance of shiny.

It's complicated and pretty much not worth it on HG/SS. It doesn't take too long on DPPt, though - less than 30 minutes.

I'm not going to use pokesav, as i have no idea what that mean, and since i have an AR anyways, but i still dont want to cheat to get it.
RNG? never really heard of it outside of this forum, but i assume it stands for random number generator/god or something along those lines. =/

Even with a 1/2048 chance, it is still better than 1/8-ought thousand chance. soft resets can handle that, though even if i were to get a shiny, theres still no guarantee that i'd get a nature i like. BUT I WILL TRY IT ANYWAY!

All the information pertaining to an egg (natures, IVs, shininess) is set when the egg is created in the daycare. Soft resetting won't work.

Yeah, you have to hatch all of those eggs. Have fun.

RNG basically has you kinda manipulate the frames/seeds to get what you want, such as shinies or correct natures.
PokeSav is a program that lets you make a pokemon, with anything you want, then you turn that file into some AR code to create onto your game.
