Someone help me >.>
#1
Ok so, I'm level 115 with like 90%. So pretty much 116. I'm having a problem with training.

I'm pulling 14% an hour on 1x. Killing middle platform 2 newties. Is this the type of exp I should be getting? Cause getting 1 level per 4 hour 2x card is kind of disheartening.

I've been trying to find parties, but it seems like no one does newtie parties anymore. I guess there's really no where else for me to train either.

What is the problem? Why did this all of a sudden get so slow? Also, what should I do about it? Any help is great. Thanks.

That exp sounds about right. pomegranate just gets slow at that level, it's perfectly normal. I don't know where people go to look for newt parties anymore (leafre channel 1?), but I'm sure that they still happen, just on a more private basis because of the mini-dungeons.

Protip: The best way to almost guarantee that you'll have someone to party with is to make/get a hold of an HS mule.

Things do get slow at that level. Just hang around leafre ch1 spamming for newt parties if you don't know anyone, and if you have to solo, taking the bottom should be better exp than sniping the middle by your level.

I was on the bottom while Carlos was in the middle throughout our entire 9x to 13x. In spite of being stronger than him, I never got better experience until 4th job. Pretty sure middle is best.

14% per hour is good in my book o_o

I can't get past 7% per 30 min on 2x, but i haven't really played in a LONG time -school keeps me really busy =/

Stick it out thru the end though. I remember back when my ranger would get 7% an hour at zombies in the late 80's- training isn't meant to be easy. my advice: if you got friend connections, you could share 2x exp party reps for some time to get over that little bump in the road.

Try and do your time temple quests if you're really getting bored. The exp is slow as pomegranate, but you run the chance of getting pieces of time for some decent cash, and the quests themselves are decent rewards in terms of exp.

I timed it myself during late third and bottom was better for me by 10x onwards since I was killing the middle too fast and there was quite a wait time in between spawns o0

I guess all I can do is tough it out and just push through it. I'll try testing bottom later, hopefully I can find some parties.

Were you doing the entire bottom, or just the left two?

Just the left two. The entire bottom in your 11x is nothing short of suicide.

I did the right side for 12x, it was quite a bit faster with 3.

Oh I agree. I can't remember if someone told me to do this or I thought it up, but using 1 Torp to mob the bottom right 3 is pretty amazing exp at that level. And it's an excellent crash course for boat control too, since you're right in the Newtie's line of sight the whole time. I think at my best I made it last a half-hour down there at level 124ish.

My friend gained about 20%/hr soloing gallos on 1x at that level. He gained about a level an hour on 4x o-o
