I never have any issues with training Pokemon. Breeding is the part that causes rage.

Really? Breeding is super easy. Well, breeding for pokemon, not for STATS. Training is so hard. After 30 there's no good place to train.

I'm not really concerned about filling my Pokedex, though adding to my totals is always nice. I'd rather have a box full of all the Pokemon I like with decent stats and moves than a game with every single Pokemon. Getting specific nature and gender combinations is a peach sometimes. Biking up and down, up and down, must have been 10000 steps already...oh finally...what's this? lax? fuuu-- I dunno, training doesn't seem that hard, though. >Equip Lucky Egg >Turn Battle Animations off >Call Gym Leader/Vs. Seeker in DPPt >Fight Gym Leader >Repeat until done The curve does get pretty ridiculous at level 70+ but

Speed Bump Wrote:If you look on the little thing for the course with the Pikachus, theres a Pikachu in the sky with balloons. just wanted to throw this out there also, considering that i have 2 of these cards
Spoiler
Also, T> a Saph version Shiny Kyogre (pink) for a shiny shuckle, caught in a luxury ball (meh, or bred), with good/31 defense, special defense, and speed IVs. Base stats need to be high too. @_@

Why is it that gym leader rematches are supposed to be so good? I'm fighting Bugsy right now and all of his pokemon are 10 - 20 levels lower than the elite 4's.

Got my copy of the European Soul Silver about two hours ago, yay for a day before release.
Didn't really focus on rushing to the first gym, but getting my Ledyba. Team for now; -Ledyba lv. 7 -Cyndaquil lv. 10

Doing a team right and capturing Pokemon to fill my Dex. I've almost got 100 Pokemons now, still got many to evolve.
I ran into Red the other day, with a wounded level 73 Scyther, a healthy level 59 Magneton and level 79 Espeon. I was able to take down his Pikachu, Lapras and Snorlax, but couldn't get past his Blastoise because of Snorlax... So, I'm rebuilding my team now, getting more Pokemon to a high level so I can beat that whiny ass.

Just go Cut. Saved infront of the Headbutt tutor. Going to get Headbutt on something, then go back to Newbark and places spamming headbutt so I can catch everything I missed.

I prefer fighting the gym leaders for the following reasons: -Easy to heal/switch Pokemon in between battles -Monotyping means easy to exploit weaknesses -Easier battles in general; you're more free to switch weak Pokemon in and out

Ended for today at Falkner's gym, I'm hard-headed and I want to beat it with Ledyba, too bad he's weak against Flying types and gets 3HKO'd by any of the trainers before Falkner.
On the bright side Ledyba now knows Comet Punch, quite effective. My Ledyba's now lv 13 and Cyndaquil lv 12. Hopefully I can catch my other teammates sometime soon.

Just got all 16 gym badges last night, took me long enough. My original plan was to get all the badges in less than a week, but school didn't let me.
