Mirai Nikki Pilot Anime Announced!

According to Mangaoh, a pilot anime of Esuno Sakae's manga "Mirai Nikki" was announced to be released on September 9th along with the manga volume 11. This release may indicate a full anime series of Mirai Nikki.

Some time ago, there was a rumor about a Mirai Nikki anime that had a trailer with it; but it was a hoax. Now, we've got some pretty legitimate news about a real Mirai Nikki anime. Pretty excited to see this. I hope it comes out quite nicely.

Let's all hope that episodes come out faster than once a month.

Ah yeah, I read about this as well. I'm hoping that by the time the anime starts getting worked on, the series finishes. I'd rather not have an alternate ending to it, because it's not that long of a series.

You call that forever? Hunter X Hunter fans had to deal with a hiatus that lasted just barely over a full year, and D.Gray Man fans had to put up with a nasty long hiatus too- not too sure of how long. I can't recall when the last chapter was released: either December or January, but yeah- certainly been a while, but not the worst ever. (When did 49.5 come out by the way? I recall seeing it pop up on OneManga early in March; but that's dependent on how long before a user uploads it on. For all I know, it could have come around February or even January.)

And yes- the glorious source material is always better than the anime adaptation. One of the rare cases I've ever seen that not be the case was Haruhi Suzumiya thanks to the episode order shuffling around the events. Also, Fullmetal Alchemist's first anime's turned out better than the manga at some points; but that's because of a different plot direction.

Anyways, I'm wondering what this pilot episode could be. Chapter 0 tossed in with 49.5 and with that very first chapter of Mirai Nikki: Mosaic? I like that idea, actually; or hell- just animate the brief Chapter 0.

Mirai Nikki takes forever to come out, I don't know if it's slow translations (due to lack of interest) or if it's because it is literally.. just slow, overall. Seems to really take it's time more than any of the other manga series I'm currently reading! ._.;
