Didn't make it to the English version for obvious reasons. I really have to wonder if the creators knew what that word meant in English, or if they just thought it was a cool sounding English word...

DBZ is worse than a soap opera. Only in a soap opera can a pregnancy last for 12 months. And only in DBZ does it take three episodes to throw a punch.

My dad to this day will be walking around the house and just to tease me say, "What was that show you watched when you were a kid? All I remember is that it was about grown men grunting about power levels. *grunts a la DBZ*"

Dragonball was better, in my opinion. No JUST 5 MORE MINUTES, or full episodes of powering up. It was a boy who went on an adventure and became a hero, while still being goofy.

Seems familiar. Wikipedia/Google isn't working for me, so I'll try to explain as much as I can.
I remember there being lots of females in it and she used to like this male (Generic story). The girl for some reason had some relation to wings and as time progressed the guy had those wings as well.
Hell it's so vague in my memory I can't explain it.

I watched the first 20-ish episodes of Dragonball Kai a little while back. It was actually about on par with Dragonball.

I know a lot of guys that watched Sailor Moon... not that bad for guys to watch it imo.

Yeah, I watched the first few episodes of Kai as well. Would have been pretty badass, if they didn't censor it. Not that it was too much of a difference, but still disappoint. All in all, they fixed the pace of it (they had to if they wanted to shrink the series to what, 100 episodes?). If I don't have anything else to do, I may download the whole series and watch it to see how they did with some parts (particularly Namek...)
