durability weapons
#1
i had a few questions about the durability weapons that where recently released in kms

the main question is, is str now part of the hands formulla or not? as you need 400 hands to get the special skill from the weapons.

also, are they hard to get? i know they are a pq boss drop.

Str is still not part of the formula, this is probably to prevent dexlesserity(is that even a word?)

The "Durability" weapons are mostly the epic items, they are obtained through special party quests, and recently they added some lv 25 durability weapons (though im not sure if they were implemented or not)

The only Epic Weapons I can remember are the CWK weapons that come from the dragon rider PQ

I think Balrog weapons are Epic, too.

there is a balrog weapon effect in the data but ive never seen it ingame.. and yea some balrog equips do have a build in skill. the wild wolf bandanas are epic too but dont give a skill

anyways do the even pq epic weapons give an effect?

and does the critical described in the weapon skill add up with the critical ring effect like se stacks with normal critical?

Durability weapons aren't that good. They die out between every hit or so, I don't know how they "regain" durability. Only durability weapon I've seen is:

 Spoiler

That's as much as I know about durability weapons. Also, STR doesn't count towards your hands.

ok thanks for the responds

this gave me new questions though. what happens if you wear a critical ring along with the weapon crit?

critical rings give either 10% chance on 10% extra damage or 5% chance on 20% extra damage... so how do they work together? would you get 20% chance (10 and 10) on 22% dmg (0,2 x 0,1)?

which ring would be better for an aran along with the polearm?

how does ring crit work with se and base crit? i thought it was totally seperate and they dont affect eachother, but they can work on top of eachother? they why are those rings so much better for classes that allready have critical? because thats what ive been hearing

You can only wear one Adventurer Ring.

Also, the only durability weapons we have (or I know of) are:
the ones that look like CWK items from the Dragon Rider PQ
the ones given out during the Return of the Adventurers event

The massive hands requirement was reduced before they were released.

Crit ring is best for crit based classes i believe.

the SE thing i think is along the lines of SE modifies the new "base" crit of skill + ring instead of SE + base crit + ring (but then again that may be the same thing)

whats the requirement right now then?

also, if anyone would have the knowledge about the story behind the critical then id appreiciate it a lot if he or she could explain some parts. mainly about how normal critical work alongside the new critical thingys. and also what would happen to the odds if you where to wear the critical polearm plus the critical ring at the same time

base crit, SE and the crit rings all work the same way. the crit chance is added and so is the damage. SE itself is 15% chance +140% damage but it makes archer crits be 55% chance of +240% damage; if you add the crit ring on top of that, it's 65% chance of +250% damage. I would assume that the weapon and the ring would work the same way.

Does anyone know the current hands requirement if any?

Pretty sure there wasn't one for warrior weapons.

The point is that they were reduced to something that's not literally impossible to achieve. (the knuckle being the only one with that when made iirc) What does it matter what the hands req is?

I matters cause im aiming to equip one, i got my hands up to 221 with 4 base dex and id like to know if i need any gear changes. I just found out THE knuckle one requires 110 hands, so is the pole arm the same?

You need the hands to use the EFFECT of the weapon. You can equip it if you don't have that much.

The only effect on the PA is for arans only.
