Where are you guys at on your Heart Gold/Soul Silver playthrough?

Restarting my Gold. Team sucks. Hate it. Clean start will just flow more smoothly. How do I reset my Pokewalker? Google failed me.

Edit: Found it. Starting fresh with a Chikorita, because its pro. Going to try and build a solid team earlier this time, so I'm not looking down Victory Road with a team of high 30s.

Finally started my game.

I picked Cyndaquil because I only picked a fire Pokemon once out of all the real/rommed Pokemon games that I played. I named her Charla. Out of lack of creativity I named my rival Silver. Gonna be moving some rare candies to my game so I can check out early what Cyndaquil is capable of.

and maybe a gold nugget to Disc One Nuke myself with moar Pokeballs.

Got Heart Gold yesterday and started

Started with Totodile. Captured a female Spearow for the Sprout Tower and Fly HM slave and named it Mystia (Lol obvious reason). Captured Sentret for all purpose HM Slave, although I might trade in my Bibarel for that purpose though.

I need to beat Falkner to be able to access the Wi-Fi center to bring in my Piplup, Chimchar, Mareep, Abra, and Riolu Eggs.

And I'm getting a DS and Soul Silver later this week to finally begin playing. Yesss. I loved Silver so much; can't wait to play it again.

Kanto badges were a breeze to get. Didn't take long at all.

Right now I'm done with the game. I'm going back to places I needed Rock Climb for and getting all of the items I missed.

Woo, just got Articuno, and moltres was caught earlier. That's all of the available legendaries in a single game.

Beginning long-ass grind to stand a chance against Red with only my current team.

Red is easy. Give any level 50/60 Pokemon that knows Earthquake a Choice Scarf or a Focus Sash and it'll murder his Pikachu. Use something bulky on the Sp. Def side that can survive a Flare Blitz from his Charizard and you're set. I used a level 54 Flygon and a level 64 Blissey to take down his entire team.

Spent a couple hours getting Rare candies over as well as 3 of my high level Pokemon from Diamond over. Found out my Cyndaquil has the following IV ranges (calculated at level 22. Needed to adjust how much EVs I got from Pidgeys, Sentrets, and a misc pokemon here and there):
HP: 30-31
ATK: 24-25
DEF: 12-13
SP ATK: 18-21
SP DEF: 20-24
SPD: 14-18

Speed may be a little lower, but the rest checks out. I'm rather happy I got such a strong female starter, and without the need to RNG/reset abuse either.
