Why is Lilin's Ring better than Cruel Ring for a Hero training solo?

is getting these rings part of a time-limited event, or is it a permanent, ongoing feature ?

On ACB the crits are boosting 350% to 351%. The extra STR goes from like 750 to 753 str. The str increase (0.4%) is better than the crit increase (0.28%). For Brandish, the crit is 260 to 261% afaik (or is it 494 to 495). If it's the first it's 0.39% and will actually beat Lilin's ring at higher levels. ed: More specifically Paladin - ACB: 1050- str: Lilin's Paladin - ACB: 1050+ str: Cruel Ring Hero - Brandish (1): 780 str - Lilin's / Cruel Hero - Brandish (2): 1482 str - Lilin's / Cruel Paladin - Blast: 1650 str I believe it's confirmed that Brandish(2) is how it works with SE, so it's probably better to stick with Lilin's soloing. Is there any word on how the 8% stun works? If it's a per-hit chance, then TT (3 hits) has 22% stun, Savage Blow (6 hits) 39% stun, Demo (8, right?) has 49% stun o.o

I thought Demolition and Snatch always stun? Don't hear me much though, I've just used Demo on level 1 a few times.
Even for barrage it would be a little useless, since it already has has stun side-effects (triggers Stun Mastery for the next attack), but doesn't actually stun nor shows the stun animation. Not like stun is needed with all the invincibility frames, we just need stuns for criticals, since they're the condition to our passive crits. Since a Bucc's Double Uppercut, Backspin Blow, Barrage, Demolition, Snatch, and Energy Blast (50% chance at re-balance patch) already activate Stun Mastery, the Magical Ring's 8% stun would only help to the Corkscrews, Lolersaults, and Dragon Strikes you use in-between combos. So the real question is, what's better, 8% chance to stun for about 3 skills (and raise Energy Blast to 58%) and raise Stun Mastery 60/60 crits to 65/80 in chance/dmg... (Magical Ring)? or... Just raise our 60/60 crits to 70/70 plus 1 more weapon attack... (Critical Ring)?

Demo and snatch always stun, except demo doesn't show stun like barrage.
For all situations the stun ring is worse than the crit ring. The only situation where they're comparable is if a 3rd job marauder uses it, and that it stacks with blasts chance of stunning. Blasts % chance of stunning is 45% iirc, not 50%.
