How to get Taos

This thread is being made ahead of time so that once someone finds out they can post it here for all to see sry for misleading title Won't be misleading if someone posts with info mods, delete thread if u must

I think most people believe that they come from redeeming badges to Joko once you complete enough quests. My theory is that depending on which kind of badge you turn in, you'll get a weapon related to that monster, or a chance of just mesos. If you turn in 25 of all types, maybe a chance to get a tao? Someone turned in 50 windraiders and received a level 43 crossbow, which makes sense since they shoot arrows. o.o I'm guessing since nightshadows hold little dagger like weapons, you get a chance of getting a dagger from those badges. Stormbreakers are the most warrior-like monsters, so swords from those badges, and I guess since firebrands are the last ones left, claws for those. I turned in 25 of each and only got 3.5mil mesos rather than an item. >.>

I'm going with your theory though, and finding 50 stormbreaker badges to get a raven sword.

Great, 25 each for 3.5m or a chance at tao item OR 50 NightShadows so I can get a Beak.... SO DIFFICULT!

Well 3.5mil is bad imo for 100 badges. >.> I would've preffered a tao.

I thought you got Raven Xbows from handing things in? They are lv 80-90 not lv 42 or 43.

You can get those, doesn't mean you necessarily get those.

You can also get 60% scrolls from LPQ, but I've gotten a lot more ores and pots and junk.

You do exchange with fiona, but it's either for upgrading raven weapons you already have, or creating balanced fury stars, crimson arcanon, crimson arcglaive, or crimson arclancer. You don't give badges to fiona. Joko is who you give badges to for a chance to get the original raven weapons, and maybe taos.

Or it could have been a coincidence, anyone else try this theory and got an item?

My hypothesis is that they're from the exchange quest or they drop from Nightshadows.

By the way, is there a thread where someone's recording what you might get from the Joko Exchange Quest?

Level 42 xbow is a silver crow

if they threw in random weapons to Joko this is gonna be a pain in the ass

I got 750k from 50 Windraider Badges.

While that's a possibility, the "Raven gear" he's talking about are the weaker weapons, and you can take those to Fiona for upgrading into better forms.

Fiona can also forge certain items from scratch, specifically all the ones with "Crimson" in the name. The forging recipes are ridiculous though.

well, thats good info too, but what I was trying to say was that the Tao are from the ShadowKnights, and Joko said there was a chance he would give you Raven Ninja Stuff. So I dont think the Tao are from Joko, so I think they might be a rare drop, an iTCG, or maybe Fiel found code that hasnt been fully developed yet. (it might be part of the next Masteria patch)...and also I dont see any thing about the ShadowKnights anywhere in CWK. I see your point, though.
