If you have a language pack that supports that e, then all you have to do is hit alt to switch to the language (perhaps french), then type e, and it would come up with the accent.

Since I have an English keyboard, I press Alt Gr + *vowel here* = *accent here* so it's easier to type. I used to have an Irish keyboard which shows the á, é, í, ó, and ú on the keys. So yah. ¦-J
