Do you name your Pokemon?

Topic title.

Do you ever name Pokemon?

I have to say that it depends on the Pokemon, although I usually don't.

I name annoying Pokemon, and Pokemon I use. Other than that, no. Every Pokemon that I use in my team is important enough to get a name, even if it's cheesy. My Togekiss is Togemolest, my Yanmega is Icarus, my Gengar is AlleyRape, my Suicune is North Star, and I've many more names for my Pokemon.

If they're annoying I'll name as well. I was trying to breed Bulbasaur for a specific move, but needed a female Bulbasaur. After 3 boxes full of baby Bulbasaur, I finally got a female. I was so annoyed by this point that I just nicknamed it BitchSux or something.

My starters are always Lil' K!yO, and everyone else gets a nickname after they hit lvl 100, or if they resemble a friend, on which hand, I name them that friend right after I capture

I've recently started, but I usually don't.

Sealeo is "SPHEAL, EH?"
Furret is "IM A FURRY"
Scyther is "CISEAUX"
Growlithe is "Rawz0rz"

I do not.

However, I always "nickname" every Pokemon I use with a de-CAPS version of their name. Like, instead of MISMAGIUS, I change it to Mismagius.

Not anymore. I used to make 'funny' names for them when I was a kid though.
Examples; my Parasect was named Parasexual and my Kadabra was POOHEADMAN.

o__o...yeah...dirty childhood.

I might actually do that, it looks like an interesting way of naming them.

Haha, yeah. That's happened sometimes, but I usually fix it right away. Or if I remember, I just avoid the problem altogether by naming the first form with the final form's name. GASTLY named Gengar. Pokes gotta grow into their names!

Sometimes I would name my starters CELEBI, or MEW, or things like that, just to freak my friends out when we battled.

No. But I do sometimes do what Kyle does if I am not feeling lazy.

Ever since Platinum, always; only the ones I particularly like and use though (usually includes my whole party).

I give them nicknames for fun, usually based on food or descriptions of food like 'delicious'. .___.

My main usually gets a normal name though.

I usually give my pokemon nicknames that fit what type they are. Like, my Magmortar is nicknamed Blaze and my Crobat is named Jet. Short and sweet!

On Shoddy or NetBattle, I've always had weird ways of naming my Pokemon, often with some sort of theme. Names I've previously used (note, may offend some people, but I was just messing around):

Only for Pokemon I actually use, and even then only if I can think of a name that isn't incredibly fucking stupid.

Ninetails: Amber
Articuno: Freeze
Pickachu: Sparky

Graveller: Rocky
