The Korean fantasy massively multi-player online role-playing game (MMORPG) MapleStory announced on Wednesday that it will feature a Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood tie-in campaign in Japan. For a limited time starting on March 31, MapleStory will offer Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood tie-in items such as character costumes, weapons, and items of popular characters, as well as items related to the series such as the Armstrong family treasure. The second phase of the campaign will run from April 26 to May 26.

Players can find these items randomly inside Gashapon vending machines within the game and at "point shops." There will also be a special MapleStory item coupon bundled with the ninth DVD and Blu-Ray volume of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood on April 21. The coupon can be redeemed for more Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood items.

Well, at least these look better than the unofficial outfits.
