Try getting a Cradily/Abomasnow/Tangrowth and teach them Block and Ingrain.
Use Block, and if you have an Abomasnow or Tangrowth you'll need to use Ingrain as well.
Although they'll have to be faster than Raikou or Entei which might be hard. :o

Or you could have a Gengar/Jynx and use Mean Look, then Hypnosis/Sing.

A Pokemon with Taunt might work, haven't tried that yet. >_>

poor jasmine though. =[ shes on that list of my most favorite gym leaders, plus my sexiest trainer/gym leader list.

One of my favorites in terms of design. Simplistic, but I think it works pretty well. Not to mention one of the funniest gym battles I've ever had, what with her Steelix using Sunny Day on my Typlosion...

i found that the sweet demeanor was very successfully contrasted with the fact that her gym is the steel one, and she's got steelix, which looks like its ready to kill without hesitation. like seeing a little girl shooting people as a hired gun. just a perfect contrast. also koga sucks for giving his gym to his daughter and becoming a member of the new kanto E4.

Indeed. I was quite pelased to see her have an apperance in Diamong and Pearl. Blain is also one of my favorite gym leaders as well, but that may be aided by the fact that he's actually a pretty cool dude in the manga.

Just beat the E4. Why so overlevelled guise?

Team at Lance: 46 Weavile, 41 Vibrava, 40 Leafeon, 37 Crobat, 32 Hitmontop, 30 Rotom. MVP: Weavile. I was basically sacrificing all my other Pokemon at Lance so Weavile could get more Ice Punches in.

I had paralyzed Raikou/Entei with Flaafy (lvl28), best place to start. Then get someone to trap em and slowly weaken em.
When they were low low red, I just went back and forth holding XYAB to catch it. and it worked.
This is also before I even beat Claire.

Holding buttons is useless now and were only a placebo before. All attempts are predetermined before you go into battle now based on steps, active pokemon, time and other events.
Yeah, I skipped the legendaries and am only going back to catch them now. I never use legends in my team. I put them in a box. Only want them for the pokedex. Its frustrating because I want them caught and away, and they're taking time away from breeding.

This thread makes me feel old for having watched the original series when I was 6 and still having all my Pokemon cards from like, 13 years ago. I'm sittin' on a gold mine bitches!

Anywho, as for a team, I think when I used to play with my old Gameboy Color and Red/Blue/Gold/Silver games, which I also still have, I had a completely stupid team. It was like, Dragonite(favorite pokemon, at one time I had like, a party of 6 of them over lvl 60), and of course a Charizard and a Raichu or something. Also probably a Lapras and a legendary or two of some sort. More than likely Zapdos and Mewtwo.
