Anyone else notice that the world of pokemon isn't governed? It's got a police force and hospitals... where do they get their funding? There are no kings or elected officials.

ya i wondered. Along with why are on duty police officers fighting you, why you cant say no to a trainer wanting to battle, why some non legendaries dont appear in the wild (ala sudoowoo, snorlax, ect), how HOLDING AN INCENSE WHILE MATING CHANGES THE TYPE OF BABY POKEMON, and many others...

I can't live without a Piplup, a Riolu, and Chimchar (Yes, i'm starting with Chikorita despite all the suckage.) I remember I had three Sinnoh pokes and three Johto originals during the E4 battle.
