Im sorry if pokerface, just dance, paparazzi and bad romance charted number 1 worldwide when they were released.

Artist > music major. And if you say her songs are garbage, youre saying some songs by many other artistes she wrote for are garbage too. And that includes britney spears(the person intended to sing telephone).

Everyone has different tastes, but people's tastes are an indicator of the kind of people they are. Personally, I don't think I'd get along with someone who likes this kind of music.

True, but I was stating arguing over who has better taste in music was an argument that will lead nowhere. Aside form that, there are some people who have musical choices that nobody would expect (Ecko and Hannah Montana, or however you spell her name, too lazy to google).

This. While I agree some people's musical tastes are indicative of their personalities, that's not always the case. There was a Speakeasy thread that asked this question in which I answered in a similar fashion (I'll edit it here in a sec), but which I think should be read along with the debate in this thread. Like I said though, people can't always be defined by the music they listen to. I have Pokerface next to Gee (Girls Generation) next to 1812 Overture on one of my favorite playlists, and my Top 25 Most Listened to is a mix of musicals, Lady GaGa/Beyonce, indie rock, and lo and behold, some MapleStory BGMs.
