Your predictions for the "BIG PATCH" in march

A new island! (Like Victoria or Ossyria!)

or maybe a big update in Ellin Forest (Maybe Perion and Kerning).

I really hope they make a completely new area. There hasn't been a truly new area since Mushroom Castle, and the last traditional area was, what? Time Temple? There has been little update to adventurers since then, except for theme dungeons, Ghost Ship and Dragon Rider PQs, and adventurer rebalancing. (And DRPQ is probably more related to Evan than adventurers.)

Once upon a time Masteria might have filled the gap, but that doesn't look to be the case anymore. I guess Masteria will just be left on the wayside just like the other World Tours.

I don't have faith that KMS will do this. Those NPCs have been blank since they were implemented. Seems like the area was in development and then abandoned, just like the CKPQ area.

Disappointment. Massive.
It will be an epic area you can't even think of entering until 150, due to damage and accuracy issues, with massive HP mobs that make F/P mages cry with joy. I'm thinking 10 times the HP of a Newtie or something. Double the Exp.

How is this "disappointment"? This would actually be great.

well,unlike you,i dont think only a "NEW AREA" title means grand patch..
i think this patch will include a new area[not world tourd themed] so probably a new island/expansion to older areas/changes in world map
and rebalancing and UI enhancements to make the gameplay better

making gameplay better=grand patch in my opinion!

I'm hoping it's a high level area for those of us level 150+. We need some love after Neo S'hitty and Perfect Pitch.

i'd say either completly new area (maybe new island or as expansion on current ones)
or heh thats maybe a lil stupid but 2 of the 3 doors in time temple are closed and iirc they say something like "past" and "future" (not sure lol wasnt in tt for a bit)
so maybe they open another doors there f3 with some hlvl monsters *.* (160-180 regular monsters plox with 300-400 k hp wee)

Now personaly I would love that they opened the time temple areas as DES just said, Or a new Continent too :O

I was going for a crap HP-ratio place. Replace my 10 and 2 with your own numbers. I thought multiplying the ratio by 1/5 would be a bad thing. :|

Your suggestion WAS a bad thing.

Chances are the strongest mob in the next high leveled area will have 190k+ HP and give 10k+ exp, while doing 5k-5.5k damage.

It just means they're working on something new. Small patches with little time between them = recycling and other crap. Long time = new job or new area.

Yeah i know, but unless they're going to release this in KMS on the 30th/31st (i don't remember which day march ends on) assuming the same testing period as dual blades, they would either have to release it now and have it ready by the end of march or 5 days from now.

i will suck off the Koren Nexon Dev team if they put in some new high level training spots for all classes. skeles @ 150 are boring..

If this patch is as ''big'' as I think it is, here are a number of things I think will happen.

Magic damage formula will change.
Axes and Blunt weapons will either get critical hits passively, or just get a new asskicking damage formula
Weapon defense formula will change, so it actually makes it WORTH it to wear higher level armor.
New high level area, possibly the end-game black magician area, with a new set that exceeds even the timeless armor, and has it's own special abilities from leveling up.
The two new jobs they said they'd release.
