Does anybody know how long it takes for him to spawn after being killed? I've been getting answers everywhere between 2 hours(lolgjoke) and 12 hours

It's 6 hours assuming no lag but it goes up any time there's people in the map.

If no one enters the map, Headless Horseman will spawn as soon as there's room on the map, provided it's been 6 hours after it is last killed. Whenever people enter and exit the map, it will take longer. Tell me if that needs to be clearer.

How does the enter/exit thing work? Does time spent matter? How much does it increase time by? Does that mean the minimum is 6 hours? Is there a maximum?
Sorry, I'm getting into HH hunting slowly. xD

People entering/exiting the maps lags the counter for his spawn, thus adding a few seconds.
Best time to hunt HH if you are not timing each map and channel (crossroads 1, 2 and 3, hidden evil, creeping evil, hollow ground, evil dead and forgotten path from what I remember) is to go in the morning.

So if I go and mass kill about 30-50 HH I should go re-hunt them around 6 hours 5minutes later to count for the spawn lag?

IIRC, HH had a variable spawn time, somewhat like the added seconds from people entering the map, but it can change more than those seconds as well.

Ah... Good ol' Headless horseman. I still hunt it from time to time, if I find him around.
So yeah, time is 6 hours till he comes back to the same place, and crossroads are a good place to find him. Also, Evil Death is a fantastic challenge if Bigfoot is not around. At least on lower levels... Can't rely that much on KB there, so you have to rethink your strategy. I LOVED IT. |
