Nexon has never mass banned people for buying hacked/duped/glitched items have they?

Its really hard. How can you tell the difference between a "legit" chaos scroll, and a hacked one?

Lets say player A hacks and deflates chaos scrolls to 5 mill.

Player 2 finds a chaos scroll at zombie mushrooms and REALLY needs money, so he sticks it up in his store for 5 mill.

If you're trying to buy a chaos scroll to scroll a cape or something, how will you know which one is legit? Is it fair for you to be banned because you unknowingly bought a hacked chaos instead of a legit one?

There's no sign saying "Chaos scroll gotten from an egg" on it. In that example, one is a product of hacking, the other is a product of the market price being low.

I definately see a rollback fixing this... if done now and not in a few days. (I hope not though lvld to 149 today & I'd love to chaos some equips if they drop to 5m ea xD)

they usually don't care enough about the game to do a rollback so i don't see them doing one here. chaos scrolls are down to 30m or lower in scania now. :f6:

Good luck scrolling with those cheap chaos, specially when PACs, FS and the rest of the known "chaosable" items have raised in price.

Nexon known to not rollback their servers. Previous screw ups proved their ignorance. This dated back to the mass hacking at vikings, mass unlock of hacked accounts (so that the hackers got on and transfer all their stuffs away), etc. They did nothing about those, and I doubt they'd do anything now. It is an unfortunate cliche but whatever Nexon tried to fix, they made it harder and harder for legit players to play the game.

You must not have been around when they banned all the people they felt were guilty of owning duped mesos. Note not guilty of actually duping them, just owning the duped mesos.

Or all the random people who were banned for BF abuse who had never even been to Masteria yet.

If you gained a lot of levels within a day, you were glitching Bigfoot. Ah, Nexon.. you never cease to make me lol.

This pomegranate just makes me want to do it and dont preach to me about how its illegit or something, cause there are far worse things than trying to get ahead financially in a vidya gaem.

To clarify, it is a surprisingly simple packet edit. I am dissapoint at Nexon for allowing something like this to happen. =/

MTS now has 100 chaos scrolls for 86k or 8.6 mil mesos per scroll !!!!!!!!!!!!

That's insane deflation, and I'd like to know how Nexon is going to trace all of the transactions after the fact because these scrolls are being sold in MTS.

Chaos scrolls deflating are going to cause everything else to deflate in a chain reaction. Why 60% your glove when you can use a chaos scroll, which will probably cost 2-3m in a day or two? Pretty much every scroll will become worthless, leading to self-scrolling becoming a better choice. Increased scrolling would also mean more maker items, so maker materials may go up in price. More self scrolled items means prescrolled items go down in price, and that means nearly everything in the FM just got a whole lot cheaper.

Jesus. And how long has this event been on?

This is gonna be fun to watch.

They should just take chaos scrolls off the prize list for now.. let this thing mellow out.

Just curious, does Nexon make money from this? Since many people are buying all those C.Scrolls from MTS.
