Help Running KMS
#1
So, ive got KMS maple installed, updated with hackshiled and everything, but when the game actually comes up to load, the screen goes black and freezes on that, aka the BlackSoD. Im gonna try compatability mode, but for some reason I dont think it will work.

System is a Toshiba laptop, Intel Core 2 proc, 4 GB ram, running Windows 7 Pro 64-bit.

If this would be better suited for the Tech Help thread, please move it, thank you.

Compat mode; XP sp 3 would not run, and Vista sp 2 froze like normal.

Disabling Visual Themes also brings freezing.

I run MapleStory on Windows 7 x64, it works fine.

This is KMS though, GMS still works fine. It is perplexing why it is doing this. Do i need to set my location to Korea or something? Ive already got the language set for Korean.... Imma try setting my location to Korea and see what that does.

Nope, same results as before.

I know that MyKeyDefense doesn't work with 64-bit operating systems. That's the only thing I can think of.

And how is this fixed? Maybe this is conflicting after maple launches and is causing it to BlaSoD.

Are you using GameLauncher.exe or ar you trying to launch it from the site? I really don't think it is MyKeyDefense if you are using GameLauncher.exe.
