Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread

Fought a ranger that was insanely fast today, both movement and attack speed. Like, nearly Korean video level. I wonder if it was hacks or if it's actually possible to be that fast.

It's pretty possible. I remember one time I was in a practice channel room with Mas's soul bender. The guy had, if I remember correctly:

Suede Culy (top, bottom, and shoes)
Million Deadshot Shoulder
Some belt I forgot.
Bamboo Bracelet
Forgot what necklace
Lapore Meta
The highest level Christmas Title
Upgraded Fast Pan
Full advanced avatar set (possibly with the attack speed torso and face too)

That gives you a LOT of attack speed. A LOT. Something I can only dream about.

Finally beat Isadora solo. Sadly it was on normal and it wasn't the most glorious of methods. All I did was stick C4s on her, Nade, and use Claymore then run to the other side of the room and repeat. Whatever, peach is dead.

Oh ho ho. It's not over yet. Not by a looooooong shot.

You must kill her at least a half dozen more times for quests, including on Master's. Good luck.

Don't have Blazing Bullet?

Anyways, so I'm a Spitfire that's maxing both Flash/Freeze Grenades and Freezing/Blazing Bullet. I just buff up with Blazing Bullet at the beginning, dispose of all the mobs with Blazing+Flash, and then face off against Isadora with Freezing + Freeze. I C4'd her to slow her down and just pummeled her from there. This was a few months ago on my Spitfire so I don't really remember what I did. Oh, and with a Bowgun.

I've always wondered why people leave Zealous Creature at level 1. Is there a reason for that?

Tbh, I don't really know. Zealous creatures being the sp sink that it is seems like a max or nothing skill. Guess it's just a buff for tight spots. I'm debating between Zealous or Train myself.

Apparently Zealous buffs AL summons in the map, as in party member's summons too so that might be really good in a 4 summoner party. Then you can have zealous on at all times.

After. Holy pomegranate that 160 weapon attack gave me nearly a 300 base damage boost, or 30% boost. It's......... beautiful

Met up with this guy wanting to sell Blondel Breastplate. It was the most amusing thing I saw. He was so friendly and persistent in selling it that I didn't mind paying 2k. "I'll throw in a free pebble" was hilarious.

Advanced to Summoner. What the hell, man!? They go from having one summon (Panzer) to having not 4, not 6, but NINE pineappleing summons at once. Drake's Nest was simply rape. I didn't even have MP problems whatsoever, thanks to 2 MP regen avatars, a Gentleman's Robe, and a Flare Skirt. I plan to get Scholar's Armgurad, Shoulder Warmer, and an MP regen weapon to truly see how lol-worthy Summoners are. I also plan on getting that Ancient Lirbary Ring. Already got an Ancient Library top.

My god, Summoners just faceroll and win at PvE.

Yeah they're awesome if you don't mind the "not attacking yourself" part. Since you have Library I doubt you need that much MP regen gear. Mana usage will jump at 30. I was doing fine spamming everything forever before the high elementals, but after that I realized I needed more regen.

I find that summoners don't really party well with other non-summoners, not only cause they obscure everything but also since the summons seem less aggressive.

Yeah. Partying with summoners usually annoys me as well. Can't tell what I'm aiming at.

Oh well! Off to make a Summoner!

Are the new dungeons any more interesting? I got kind of bored with this game after level 36ish. The Ice Drill thingy looks pretty awesome and I'm considering getting to 45 for that (I'm a Witch).

They're definitely a lot more challenging than the old ones. What's nice is that now the cap is 50 people actually do GBL/Noire Ferra/Thunderime and it's not impossible to find a party, so those 37-40 dungeons are also less of a pain.
