Kms hmm
#1
So, i started playing mw2, and then tried to play maple, and got bored, so i realized why mw2 had been so fun, it had been new things. Now im not saying i crave new things constantly, im just saying, maybe a new setting, now now, i cant read Korean, if im gonna learn anything, it will be Japanese. So, heres the thing, almost 90% of the people playing kms i see that point ss on these forums, as well as hs, sw, etc have there name, as well as others and there chat in english. This baffles me, i cant find how to do it, how DOES one do it? I can find ways to get my hands on a kms acc, as well as the client, but i cant understand this. And i would very much like to know.

No. You just type it in English. I can type in Korean as well. The Korean keyboard is English/Hangul.

I hope that this is just an ignorant post and I'll answer it honestly. Asian languages are typed with regular keyboards. You can choose to type latin Alphabetical characters if you want. KMS has an english speaking community, so that's why you see English on the screen.

Well, Korean is different than that of Japanese and Chinese. It has it's own alphabet and romanization that is kind of tricky, so it has it's own keyboard layout.

But yea, in kMS we type in English and barely anyone knows a lick of Korean. It's suggested that if you even consider playing you atleast learn to read Korean. A lot of things in kMS are konglish, and will get you through the "noobyness" of kMS faster than most. However you don't have to, but to be serious with you I doubt you'll stay for more than a week or two. Most people desert us after a week of something new being released.

You should consider visiting http://Ellinforest.net if you want to play kMS. Not sure if they'd want you there, though. Smile
