Just saw that one in the theater yesterday before Percy Jackson; Actually made me excited for the quality of this particular adaptation.

1:07 - Zuko and Iroh. The horror.

I'm already nerd raging because 1) Katana girl is fugly and 2) Were is the canoe from the beginning? They weren't on a big sheet of ice, they were in a canoe when they found him! D:<

While he doesn't look good for Zuko, I like the guy that's playing him.

I can live with the sheet thing, but Katara's hair.... ;_; It makes me cry.

Yeah iroh's actor sucks looks wise.

Next thing you know, the acting is like Dragonball Evolution and people don't even go to see it because they feel the chracter was whacked up so hard it ruins the feel of the movie.

Sup white people in a predominantly asian storyline.

Zuko's the dude dancing to Jai Ho in Slumdog Millionaire.

Still, that tattoo is absolutely badass.

The thing is, unlike other film adaptations like DBZ, TLA's based on the cartoon, not adapted from. So M. Night can change anything as he pleases and get away with it.

Another incentive to watch TLA: It's going up against Twilight: Eclipse for the July top box office spot. A few people I know are watching TLA just to spite Twilight... Oh, and Sokka/Jackson Rathbone's acting in Twilight as well. Hmm.
