Destroying Your Wedding Ring

I generally wouldn't be certain of anything until I see solid evidence. After all, if such did happen, obtaining a screenshot shouldn't be difficult, right?

No, and I see where you're coming from. But I'm 100% certain that it doesn't matter because marriage is a character status, the ring is just an equipment.

All the ring is for is for the effect it gives. It really means nothing lol

Thing is though, for the longest time, (before they had all those changes with that one divorce NPC), if you dropped the ring, not only could you not APQ, you couldn't get divorced and you couldn't remarry.

This problem has been longed fixed, you cannot drop your wedding ring anymore.

What about your spouse being deleted?

Characters can't be deleted if they're married.

Now, we just need to know if we can reobtain a ring (or rings if both have to do so) after they have been destroyed.

They have complicated character deletion too much. xD

That'd be kind of abusive if we could do that. o.o *spams rings with 30%s*

Well, iirc, you can get different rings after youve already gotten a ring when married, so it would still be possible since you can fail a 30%, get a new ring, and keep going, so might as well have it if you break em too.

He didn't say he could APQ after obtaining the ticket, did he? I know for a fact there's a glitch where people can obtain APQ tickets without even being married, and could enter the Entrance to APQ. Once the leader tries to enter it would say 'One of your party member is below lvl 40' and they couldn't enter.

So could he APQ or not?

i was thinking that too, im wondering:
can you divorce if you seal your wedding ring, or does an item seal not protect your items from the server requesting to withdraw an item

if the seal does protect against that then;
- being married makes it impossible to delete your char
- an item seal makes it impossible to get divorced (this is the main question here)
=
hacker protection against getting your char deleted, even if they have your PIC

edit: you would need to have 0 slots on your ring though, otherwise a hacker could delete your ring by using darkscrolls, even if you have an item seal

Being married doesn't make it impossible to delete. My friend got his 16x ice mage deleted even though it was married. The hacker just logged onto it, divorced it (All you do is talk to Mooney), and deleted it (Including all his other characters on the account)

The item seal thing though is interesting.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but don't both characters need to unequip their rings for them to be divorced? (As in the 2 married characters)

im willing to sponsor the item seal if anybody wants to try divorcing with a sealed ring and test this out.

also im wondering if its possible to divorce after you destroyed your wedding ring, cause that could work too
