Who still plays MS?
#1
After reading the "Is Maplestory Dying?" thread I was wondering, who still plays MS? If not, what are you playing right now and how is it better/worse?

No longer playing, but in the last week i did log on a few times to talk to friends and i ended up training with one during the 2x event, although I doubt that will happen again. I am playing WoW right now and one of the main reasons i think it is better is because of the more reachable and definable end game play and how it allows the development of the game to focus around being at the level cap.

Still playing everyday. However, only playing because I am partying with this crazy friend of mine as he is nearing level 200, so going to at least play quite a bit until he reaches that level. After that, no clue, as I am pretty disturbed by the recent things that has happened with Nexon.

I mainly log on now to convert some of my spare items and raw Meso into NX for use in DFO. I still do all the new quests that come out every patch, though. Occasional boss runs and some card hunting when I feel really bored. I still haven't done most of the stuff this recent patch, and it might be a while before I do... It's hard to get on MS when DFO is so much more fun. It's basically everything MS isn't and more. Massively addictive and vastly more fulfilling.

Regardless, I can't see myself "quitting" MS any time soon.

I log on every monday to discuss 24 for with Isaac, and to catch up on life.

I logged on this weekend to abuse 8x, fighting the system from within.

I logged on for about an hour after the Pyramid patch. Three hours after Neo City. That's my Maple experience for 2010.

Dude, I still play. I "quit" like 5 times but for some reason I'm still playing.

I picked the wrong choice but it works, I suppose.

As of this past weekend, I'm no longer playing.

You need an option saying that "I was hacked and have no choice but to quit" Smile.....

I'm still an everyday player and will probably continue to be until I'm hacked or Maple becomes completely unplayable.

I quit about 3 months ago. I've logged on about 5 times since.

I haven't felt the need to log on for several months now. It's just a stupid silly game.

Still log on to APQ on my Night Lord, Pyramid PQ on my NW, and sometimes.. I just leave my NL in FM to set up shop, then minimize MS for hours and hour, come back, to see Mesos. Meh.

I tend to log on then proceed to go afk, or do nothing.

Same here. I just can't see myself saying goodbye to Maple permanently. I'm currently unhappy with it because of all the hacking crap, but not hating Maple to the point I'd go cold turkey. Besides, I still need a source of NX when my MTS-ed $30 runs out. Kiss

I'm still playing, after a short break from playing my Aran. I currently find little things to do, or plan ahead to play the game most efficiently. Like, using apples on x4 exp at some high level monster for 4 hours. Or, like right now, farming something for a lot of scrolls.

I still have some things to finish on MS (make a Reverse Bellocce and white 100% it, get Aran to 70 before June so I don't miss the stupid time-limited ring) but I'm not really playing the full game. Just logging on and grinding a bit toward those goals. After that's done, we'll see.

All these new login measures are really driving me away though, I share glove/earring/ring/face accessory between Paladin and Aran, and have NLC/Ludi mules to buy potions (speed/acc at Ludi, atk/hp at NLC) and transfering pomegranate is a pain with this new website login, since half the time when I log out, it exits completely instead of going to server selection.

The recent hackings have made it much easier to cut down on my playtime (thanks, Spidey-locks) but I still play a few times a week. I still have several goals I've yet to accomplish and I'd like to finish those up before I quit the game completely.

Read: I'm too much of an addict to abandon the game just yet.
