Destroying Your Wedding Ring

As you all know, there's now a new scroll that can be used on rings. However, since they are dark scrolls, there is a chance it will destroy the ring. So what happens when you destroy your wedding ring?

If you've actually tried this, please post screenshots of the following:
1) You APQing without your wedding ring (both inventory and equip slot open)
2) You talking to that wedding dude in Amoria.

Did anyone ever try something higher than a 1% clean slate? Cuz I know 3%, 5%, and 20% didn't have the 'cash shop clause' written on the description.

I'm not married so I can't test this. However, I assume it to be the same as having either of the spouses deleted along with the ring. The other ring disappears, the marital status is cleanly wiped.

Uh, if you blow up your wedding ring the only thing that changes is that you won't have the effect anymore. Sounds logical to me, hence why you still have that heart in the corner of your character.

I dunno, it's already paid for itself in Onyx Apples, I don't ever see my spouse online, and I never APQ on my Paladin anyway because melee vs. flying balrog blows ass. (both my NL and DK are married so I can just APQ on those if I ever felt the urge)

But I'm not gonna spend money on 70%s... maybe if someone donated some 70% str to me I'd consider it. Plus there's the question if it breaks the marriage, which I probably shouldn't do.

I have about 4 APQ characters. Hell, I'll gladly test this on my cleric is someone is willing to give me a scroll. -shrug- I'm not wasting my own mesos on buying a scroll though.

I can test this after work. I can't equip my wedding ring without my Gun falling off so hopefully I can APQ without it.

Hopefully I find a scroll when I do the quests on my FM mule.
