How do you get a picture of your character?

I know this is probably common sense for most of you but i completely suck with computers i know how to start maple and go on myspace lol.. thats about it :f6: lol so if someone could please explain to me how i get a picture of my maple story character i would greatly appreciate it Thanks for taking the time to read.

Well you can either take a screen shot (Print Screen then paste in paint then crop or whatever) or Go to Banned Story and Redesign your character then upload it.

hmm i see ill give that a try.. i went to bannedstory.. but had no idea what do to so im proably just gonna wait for maple to be done so i can take a screen shot. thx for help! =]

Go to http://www.maplesim.com. In the toolbar thing at the top, click simulator. There will be a red circle on that page, with a werewolf in it. Click that to start it up, then click OK for the default settings. It will start to say "Downloading thumbnails..." etc. It will then open you up to a white space once you've finished downloading. Click create new layer on the right and then click Character. On the left, there's a button of a character with NO clothes on. Click that and set his eyes and facial features and hair (you can change the color, and using the tabs at the top you can view more hairstyles/eyes). Then close that window and click on the button of the guy with clothes on. Set all his clothes. If you want to delete something, see the character layer on the right? Press the + sign, and choose the item you want to delete from the list of items. Then press the Trash Can icon. Once you're done, go to File > Save. Press Save and save it (IT'S DEFAULT SETTING IS "ALL FILES", SO WHEN YOU SAVE IT, REMEMBER TO SAVE AS whatever.PNG.) Then make a photobucket/imageshack account and upload it, copy the forum code and post it here.

ja thanks.. the only thing diffrent i have on mine is the pants. i have the new black and white checkered pants but they didnt have them there so went with those o.O

You can search your character on the rankings and save the image from there.

Sometimes that has crappy quality, and you can't save the pet's image.

i.e. If you have a pet and do that, it won't show the pet. And you can't save the image of the pet.
