WTP? magic appearing equips

So yeah... Im not sure if this goes here, but I cant find a more proper place.

I was hunting cards in sand bunnies, when suddenly I spot a PAC in a top platform (the one where there is practically nothing), well I pick it up, and then see that there was also a Deputy star.

What are your thoughts? bait for hacking? pure random super strange luck?

The PAC kinda sucked anyways (8 dex 2 atack 0 slots)

Probably random luck that you found someone's drop transfer. Sucks for them.

Did you stay in the same channel and map for some minutes, or did you leave?

99.99% sure it was a drop trader. If I were you, I'd go back there and see if he or she will come back? a-@

Happens. I find random Steelies/Ilbies when I surf FM channels too. People drop them in an attempt to transfer to another account of their's.

OMFG wtp, THOSE WERE MY ITEMS I WAS WONDERING WHAT KIND OF DICKHOLE STOLE THEM! YOU'RE DEAD SON, YOU HEAR ME?! WATCH YOUR BACK WHEN YOU LEAVE FOR SCHOOL TOMORROW, CAUS YOUR ASS IS GANNA GET JUMPED.

Someone was drop transferring in a dumb place. It's their fault, really. Who the hell drop transfers in the middle of an open map where anyone can see it?

Grats on your find, anyway.

Yeah, I don't know how people can think this is safe. If you're going to drop trade, at least do it in a map where your items aren't visible to everyone. Drop them in the freaking Kerning hospital vent or something on channel 16, making sure the character you want to transfer the items to are logged out on the same map.

Assuming you REALLY NEED the items on that character ASAP. Otherwise just Duey it.

Kerning Hospital is a horrible place to do it, at least in peak hours in Windia. XD

Hmm, really? It used to be pretty dead in Bera. Well, then again, I do remember "drop games" in there as well where people would complain about items getting vacced.

The point is to pick a map nobody visits, and make sure that map has objects in it that are above the character layer. Nobody visits the map, and even if by some spark of bad luck, a person does visit the map within the minute window of opportunity you give them between transferring items, they won't see your items floating in the middle of the map. People don't usually walk up to random parts of the map and start looting. If someone enters that map and takes your items, chances are you were stalked by someone, or someone knew you were drop trading and tracked you until you logged off.

I used to always drop trade in the hunter job advance place in henesys where Athena is

Normally dropped it somewhere in Aqua, near the very top of the zoo. Most of my characters could get up there really quick anyways, all my characters have either Tele, FJ, or a form of FJ. <<;

People actually drop trade themselves? That's.... stupid.

If you drop them in stupid maps, yes. I've drop traded items to my other characters for over 4 years and have never lost a single item yet.

i remember before i learned of storage system to transfer items within my account, i would go to the game zone in henesys. that place, always empty.

I always used the top portion of Perion's potion shop, since it's difficult to get up there without jump boosts.

I used to drop trade in the fm when you could drop stuff in the rooms, since there are 20 rooms and well 16 channels that aren't used frequently. Though I stopped drop trading when I lost a glove att scroll xDD I never dropped anything worth more than that though. If it was worth alot I thought well its worth waiting the 12 hours via duey then.
