The Dangers of Sharing Accounts

Wow, just wow. So, instead of doing what every normal company would do and EMPHATICALLY APPOLOGIZE for letting their customers down with poor security, and make promises (even empty ones) that it will never happen again.
They're going to just pretend everyone is 10 years old and they're all stupid kids who share their info?

Someone, literally, needs to burn Nexon Headquarters to the ground. They should not exist any longer. What is it with branches of companies based from asian companies? Do they all do everything they can to save face, shift blame, or just stay quiet?

Just stunned. Companies telling their customers that they're wrong is like the worst thing you can ever do.

That line makes me think about the ToS thing that says about how all accounts are Nexon's, and that you do not own the account.

There really should be more outrage on this. I know I am.

I might worry about social engineering if I thought my personal information provided any security to my account. As it is, they can log in, spend my money, throw away all my items, and change my password, and they just need the login id to do it.

Better believe I'm guarding that id with my life... but it sucks for people who already lost that security.

The problem is is that we dont know how many account ID's have been identified. For all you know a hacker could already have you ID when the data base was hacked, they just havent got around to your ID yet as they are going down the list.

Well, that pretty much exactly what I wrote that got me banned too. I'm surprised they only got a 14 day ban.

Wasn't the whole account sharing against the ToS in the first place, Nexon? What.
