Limited Edition Classes

Namely Dual Bladers.

You can create a Dual Blade character during the limited period. You cannot create a Dual Blade character after the limited period.


I have mixed feelings about a limited edition class like this. On one hand, Nexon is giving a pomegranate about its players who stay and play the game. If you stay and play a DB after the creation expires, you have an advantage over new players. They NEVER do this. It's always FUCKYOU to the old player and HERES FREE pomegranate to the new guys. I approve of this.
On the other hand, it's a horrible system for rewarding loyal players, and is one of the most annoying things for me personally when I join a game. I hate limited edition content that I can't get at. (See: Past Pokemon Event Give aways)

Lame.

Ew. This is a terrible idea that's going to piss off a lot of people. It's one thing to give out event items and stuff but event classes is fucking terrible.

So that's their drawback for being BROKEN...

I like this, it somewhat will let them not overcrowded everyone else. Only problem is, if you mess up and are to late to remake, your screwed over unless you pay for resets.

TBH, I wouldn't mind giving up a SECOND character to use as a backup Blader.

I was actually planning something like this. Make multiple accounts and sell them for mesos/NX after the event is over. It's pretty shady practice, but it's not like I lose anything of real value if I get scammed.

Get NX to buy this class. Yeah. That's what I think. Lame.

Dungeons & Dragons Online recently went F2P w/ Microtransactions. One of the optional payments is apparently buying classes that you can only get with paying money. So nothing new... but I wonder if they'll just reopen creations later in the future.

Could this be why GMS is doing the whole IP banning for login into multiple accounts? -_-

But whatever, won't complain because I wont miss anything. That is assuming one could get the skill books from monster drops and whatnot... D:

What the hell is going on with Nexon Korea?. Even though Nexon NA is a branch of Korea it always seemed they were 2 different companies, but this is making them look more and more greedy. Maybe it's too soon to make any asumptions but still it seems Nexon korea got corrupted.
