A Perfect Pitch Event

How good a Mapler are you? Can you blaze through monsters and climb the levels like nobody’s ever seen? Well here’s your chance to get rewarded for all that hard work and skill! Perfect Pitch is all about leveling, exploring and monster-bashing! The more you do, the more you’ll find yourself rewarded with every level you achieve!



The game is simple. Just level up as fast as you can between 12:01 AM March 3 and 11:59 PM March 30, 2010 (Pacific time) and you’ll receive a Perfect Pitch for every level you achieve. Even better, you’ll receive extra Perfect Pitches once you level up to a certain point! Perfect Pitch starts and ends by talking to Admin, but during the event, you can trade in your Perfect Pitches with Inkwell in Henesys or at the entrance to the Free Market any time to collect the Perfect Pitch event-exclusive Spirit of Rock chair and Wild Wolf Bandana.

Perfect Pitch
o Event runs from midnight of March 3rd to midnight of March 31st.
o Leveling has its rewards! Earn a token for each level gained and bonus tokens for milestone levels.
o Spend perfect pitch tokens on event exclusive items.

At least that helm is somewhat half useful, assuming NEXON didn't make it a total arse to obtain.

I wonder what levels are "milestone" levels.
Either way, 100 levels aren't that hard to get in a month. Assuming you create a new character or start really low.

Well...at 151 it doesn't look like I'm going to get much of anything and unless those Perfect Pitches are tradable or milestone Perfect Pitches are generous in number, I'll probably skip this even all together since I can't even move/trade the chair even if I wanted to.

Are the tokens tradeable, is the chair karmaable, is the hat karmaable?

The Perfect Pitches are also untradable.

This would be great for me since I got hacked... However, at 130 with noob gear I doubt I could level enough to get the helmet.. Atleast I'm geussing I'd only get like 5 things per level >_>

This Music Note gives Inkwell the perfect pitch he's been dying to find. You can trade it for a rare item if you go to the Free Market Entrance or talk to Inkwell in Henesys before March 30th.

The chair would be enough for me, even though only my F/P (and possibly corsair) can feasibly get it. +18 to all stats is not a big enough deal for me to want to level like a crazy person for it, specially if it can't be Karma'd.

i hope you get more notes the higher your level....the same amount of notes for level 155-156 being the same as 30-31 is redicoulous...

Hopefully it's balanced so that if you're a high enough level you get a crapload per level. Getting something like 30 of those pitches per level if you're over 100 and 100 of em if you're over 150 or so. Numbers off the top of my head.

I doubt it though, because Chaos scrolls are on the list, and they're cheaper than the buffed Z-helm.

Oh, and it would be nice if I could actually level sometime soon, Nexon. If you fix freeze then I can get back to training.

Since benefiting from the helmet is impossible for me (I fail at leveling at late 3x and beyond anyway; sad I know), I'm incredibly happy to see the chair for only 25 notes; gives me hope at early 12x. =P

Well, this seems as good a time as any to make myself a BW warrior. Or, if the hat is obtainable in a 10-20 lvl ups after lvl 50, continuing my axe fighter might be good. Maybe I can lvl enough with the free 2x coupons on my bucc for the rock chair.

The dana suits my pirate look so well I hope it's obtainable some way or another for my 124 corsair. Would save me from buying a nx hat to cover up SL/Zakum helm...

I haven't seen much enthusiasm in this thread, my good friend. We're merely commenting on this event. I've yet to get banned. as of late the PIC does seem to be thwarting the recent chain of hackings (that, or people are reporting them less) but I do agree with the status effects thing.

Only, that doesn't prevent every class from training. Some people can get on just fine and train as well as they did before.

I see where you're getting at though, Nexon really should take the important stuff more seriously. Too bad they're too busy ignoring everyone and not reading tickets I sent to them since day 1 of the patch.
