I already downloaded and beat the Japanese version when it was leaked about 2 weeks before release. For games like this, I enjoy actually owning them, thank you very much.

BUT GODDAMN IT'S $40

Think I'll just pirate this onto a flashcart and buy the figurines/Pokewalker off of Ebay. As for the box, my sister has all of these shi'tty games like SUPER PRINCESS PEACH, so I'll just take one of those boxes and print out the boxart. :3

I think Gamestop owns EB now, so yeah they're basically the same.

EB Games still exist in Canada? The only place I've seen an EB after they were bought out is a mall (which had a Gamestop on the floor above the EB Games).

It's the updated version of the best version(s) of the Pokemon series. It's worth shelling out money for the real deal.

If nothing else, the game actually looks like a DS game and uses the touch screen. Unlike D/P/Pt which look like GBA games rushed into DS. "Ohshit guys, DS comes out. ADD A SECOND SCREEN. WE HAVE A WEEK."

I have to walk 20 minutes and take the rail for another 20 to get to the closest Gamestop near me, so that's not really worth it. Are you sure you're supposed to get the figurine when you pre-order?

Question: Can you show your receipt at any gamestop? Not just the one I preordered at? I don't wanna drive 2 hours away on a sunday.

Some stores like Best Buy give you the figure right when you pre-order. Others like Gamestop give you the figure on the day of the release if you pre-ordered. I know for sure that Gamestop is promoting the figure.
