Kyle is probably too busy with DFO. :c
...I wonder how the progress on the Gledenberg map is coming along?

By the way, if anyone wants, the Good Smile Vocaloid tradable nendoroid set got a reprint.
http://www.hlj.com/product/GSC96425 It's ¥5,712 (about $60) for the whole set (you get all 11, the one not shown is Puchi Miku) Or you can buy individual boxes for about $6 each here. Keep in mind that if you buy them individually, you're getting individual boxes of the set. You get a figure at random, so there's the chance of you getting doubles or not getting the one you want. Wish I was able to nab that Snow Miku pre-order. I waited like a week to place the order. By then, it was already booked on every online fig shop I know. ![]() Feels bad, man. Wish I didn't hesitate getting it. It was like $80 though. I have no problem paying $80 for a figure, but it's just a small nendoroid, so I had to think about it for a while before spontaneously buying. Wish I went with my instinct. I missed the opportunity to get it 2 times. The original I missed only because I found out about it after pre-orders were closed. At least I had a chance with this one (it's a remake, I actually like the original better).

I haven't been very successful at trying to get into figures. I brought it up possibly trying to make a start with figures with something small like a Nendoroid, but in the end, I always have to think about it; for an example, "is it really worth the price" or "how much do I like this character to really be worth buying". Worse yet, because I have to be dependent on parents to buy all my stuff from the Internet even with my own money, it'd probably be as awkward as buying condoms at a cash register operated by a girl. My parents would likely think I'm some kind of pervert if I'm getting a figure of a female character.

Luka's my first Nendoroid. I did preorder Snow Miku, but it cost me ~$60.
I have a few of the Petites. I got Len and Saihate Miku... Don't really care for Len, but Saihate is nice.

I drop a lot of cash on them, bu I just love collecting them as a nice hobby. Decorate my room with tons of stuff. I would have recommended the Revoltech Tengen Toppa fig, since that was only about $25 and very good quality... But I don't think you can find it anywhere anymore. xBTAx Wrote:Luka's my first Nendoroid. I did preorder Snow Miku, but it cost me ~$60. Lucky bastard, where did you pre-order Snow Miku? As far as nendoroids go, I have a ton of them, because they're usually so much cheaper than normal figs. Right now on my computer table I have Gurren Lagann, rock band Haruhi, Churuya (Nyron~ have 7 of these but only 2 are on my computer table), Saihate Miku, Reimu, and normal Luka. I ordered these two recently: http://www.hlj.com/product/SEGD2924-C http://www.hlj.com/product/SEGD2924-D

It was 4000 yen + 1500 shipping. Although, looking at my Paypal now, apparently due to their conversion rate it's around ~$68. I want a Revoltech TTGL, but they're impossible to find. I finally found one and was supposed to get it as a Christmas present, but apparently the site is still waiting for the shipment... Site is kinda sketchy though, so I dunno if it's really ever gonna come.

There's a Japanese bookstore not too far from my house. I also get my Japanese manga there, because ordering them online almost doubles the price with the shipping and handling. (Only buy when it's a series I really like, and I feel I should support the series because I feel it deserves it) I also have another store that's really close to my house. It's one of those small Chinese shops. I used to buy my anime VHS tapes from there when I was a kid. I still have some of my fansubbed VHS tapes that I got from there. It's one of those stores that sell cheap knockoffs, like "Power Cops" instead of Power Rangers. Speaking of that Japanese bookstore, I just got this earlier today: ![]() Shit is so cash. Comes with 3 bookmarks and has ton of official artwork that never made it into the series.

I do know what you mean though. I have weird Chinatown Beyblades that had characters on the bitchips who weren't even remotely close to anything from the series; and plus, they were so damn huge that they didn't work with most of my ripcords, and weirder yet: every time you spun it, it flashed lights and played a funky version of "It's a small world after all." I also have some really cheap Pokemon knockoffs lying around my house somewhere as well...

Other than being insanely jealous, I am reminded that I have Volume 23 being shipped to me from Barnes and Nobles, and I haven't read any Negima! in months so I'm going to have to reread all 22 volumes. |
