[1.2.293] Dual Blade Buffed

Yeah, but it's not as bad as when the class was first released. Their attacks were slower than Genesis at first. They sped them up to about Dragon Crusher's speed in a buff patch before officially releasing them.

That's still not good enough, is it? :S

Buffed up the already outstanding damage. [/b]They were doing 10k's per hit already, wait till GMS gets this... All hell will break loose.[/b]
I've heard this about Arans, pirates, and Evans in kmst; there's always some flaw in a job.

The only problem with Evan's is their lack of a bossing skill. They are great mobbers without being monotone as regular Arch Mages. Since they are obligated to move around the map and need to use more than 1 skill to train, they ere also way funnier to play. All they needed (and still need, maybe the future KMS balance patches can fix this) is a great 1 Vs 1 skill. I hoped Illusion was that skill since it looks bad ass, if it gets buffed up, Evans would be perfect in my opinion.

As for Dual bladers.... meh. I just plain dislike them. I hate Nexon Korea because I always thought a Dual Dagger/blade user would be such a kick ass idea in this game. But they screwed up this by Making them so broken and clasifiying it as an Adventurer. Legends have the long questing as a payoff for the great power and always add somehing new to the game (Aran'ss combo system and Evan's evolving and gaining SP through quests) but this class outpowers any other and if they are adventurers they must be as simple to play as them...

Evans can, well, buff at bosses. That's their only use.

But the fact they are even weaker than ArchMages on bosses sucks. If they get an stronger Illusion, Evans would be perfect IMO.

I'll wait until the class is actually released for a month or two. Every time a new class comes out people scream at how broken they are, only to find that when applied to the official servers for widespread testing, the flaws of the class stick out. I doubt low HP will be the only problem they face.

I know there's that thread that says Arch mages with summons will outdamage an Evan, but I pointed out some other factors the person didn't seem to address.

I addressed your factors in the "Evan DPM" thread, however this is getting a bit off-track so I have an actual Dual Blader question:

Do we know which version of Dark Sight DB's are getting, by which, I mean that I have come to understand that there are two different speeds of DS, Shadowers, after rebalancing with the faster one? Also, since I have no experience with the in-and-out of DS style of fighting/bossing, how much does its speed affect gameplay, it is noticably slower compared to something that seems as fast as a Fatal Blow or is there some kind of chaining (lol, inadvertent pun) involved?

What other problem could they possibly have? Lol. Extremely fast mobility, high DPS, wanted at parties, visually appealing, relatively cheap at the moment. What else is there?

Have we seen them in action at bosses yet? They might actually be worse than Vipers at a bossing.

The first hit is supposed to pull the mob towards the player. I guess it's designed to miss on boss monsters so weird stuff doesn't happen against immobile bosses? I'm not sure why it doesn't work on mobile bosses though.

Not really considering she's 12x so she doesn't have Chains of Hell maxed. We can't see it's true potential.
