Get ready to dig deeper because Maple World has more treasures to be found. If you missed out on your chance to get a permanent Archeologist Hat or permanent Archeologist Glasses during the last Ancient Artifact Hunt, this is your chance to try again!

Artifact Hunt II is simple--just pick up Mysterious Artifacts from monsters and gather 5,000 excavation points. When you do, you’ll receive the regular Archeologist Hat and Archeologist Glasses. If you’re one of the top 10 archeologists by 5 PM Sunday Pacific time during the duration of the event, then your hat or glasses become permanent hat! (You have one full week to redeem your reward.)

It wouldn’t be much of sequel if it didn’t get bigger and better and every way and Ancient Artifact Hunt II does not disappoint!

- Higher stats for the regular Archeologist Hat and Archeologist Glasses!

- Discover eight different Mystical Artifacts for an Artifact Top 10 Medal as well as Mystical Artifact Discoverer Medal!

- A Balrog Mount or Broomstick Mount reward for reaching 30,000 excavation points!


Even better, you still receive double excavation points for playing on Saturday and Sunday, but this time you get to choose an extra day for double points!



Talk to Gaga, get an Excavation Permit and head for the hinterland!

Lame event, just because I tire of the incessant "HAY YOU DONT HAVE A PURMIT HURF DURF" sh'it. They could at least have the decency for the artifacts to be quest-based entities, so unless you have the permit they don't even appear.
