YouTube & Hulu tag being deleted
#1
The youtube tag is now strongly discouraged. Instead, use the tags. Not only does the video tag work just as well as the Youtube tag, it also works for other services, such as Google, Vimeo, Hulu, MetaCafe, and Facebook.

With the tag, place the entire link within the brackets, like so:

You'll notice that after you make the post, vBulletin will alter the tag to look like this --> <-- the additional stuff put in there is generated by vBulletin and you don't have to add anything for it.

Click on the icon that looks like a film strip in the quick reply or advanced reply toolbar.

But it's an improvement nonetheless. At least I can use Vimeo.

Hm...

What about the tags in previous posts? Would it be possible to filter to a corresponding so that they don't break?

likely the same thing as youtube, just encase the link in video tags from where the video is shown.

When some of us noticed some others of us were able to put YT vids in places such as blog comments and visitor message yet the [youtub] tag couldn't get the job done, some of us did some research.

I used them... I clicked the filmstrip thing, thought it was pretty easy to spot as well.

Nope. FunnyOrDie videos don't work either.

How do you make things automatically play.

NEVER ALLOW THIS, FIEL.

that is the most annoying thing that can be added to a fucking forum. If I am interested in a video or song, I'll click it. I don't want it crashing my browser or over-powering my music because some douche wants to force their shitty tastes on me.
