I feel really sorry for Global. Neo City is a piece of pomegranate area. There's nothing of value you can get from it. All of the bosses and monsters aren't worth training on nor are they even close to being realistic as a level 70+ area. Neo City realy is a joke. You can't deny it. There's absolutely nothing good about it. Future Toukyou would have been infinitely times better. I'm sorry, Global players. I feel your pain.




LOL! NO! I went through Future Toukyou within a week, doing only one boss a day and I accumulated enough of the items to make a weapon and a half. Is that really SLOW? No, I don't think so. Considering I only put in about 1 to 2 hours of effort into the area a day, the items are extremely easy to get! Neo City gives NOTHING! The Future Toukyou weapons benefit EVERYONE! Sure, Global has 30 weapon attack stars, but the Future Toukyou stars are FREE to recharge, they hold the HIGHEST amount of stars out of ANY set of stars in the entirety of the game already, and they're a lower level than Balanced Furies. That benefits much, much more people than Balanced Furies.
The weapons inflict STATUS EFFECTS! Do you know useful that is? I can't even stress enough how useful they are in JapanMS, no way at all... They're just tops. Everyone aims toward getting one of the weapons, which makes the prices of them go really high, but the items are literally of the best in the game. Future Toukyou will always be far, far, far, far, far, far superior to Neo City. Neo City just just a pile if sh'it in the toilet waiting to get flushed.

Though, I would much rather have Neo Tokyo but there's no use in complaining because we're not getting it. You went through it in one week, I was hoping it would have a longer play time than that. Considering what we already have in gMS, I don't see much enthusiasm for the area past that week, besides the occasional boss fun run once in a while. Don't get confused, while many people do hate that we're getting Neo City instead of Neo Tokyo, few of them can actually go and the others are probably just blindly following. Not too soon after the patch, they'll forget about how much they wanted Neo Tokyo and they'll have moved on to whatever they hate next or whatever they feel is awesome, like the new Dual Blade class.

Are Future Toukyou's stars readily available? Furies have already had time to penetrate the market, so it's gonna be difficult to compete regardless of advantages. Furies had difficulty competing with C. Ilbis when they first came out, most people stayed with C. Ilbis, probably because of the glitches and aesthetic appeals of C. Ilbis, but because they're easier to forge and they can be recharged anywhere, more people use em, there's more of them, and they're cheap. Why spend needless time and money trying to get the new stars when you can get more than enough sets for furies for less effort, we've been fine without them so far, and let's be honest, few NLs playing gMS actually worries about how much it costs for their stars to be recharged. As far as projectiles go, the bullets are really the only thing to look forward to from Neo Tokyo.

If you kept reading, I acknowledged that I forgot about the status effects, but I have no knowledge of their usefulness. As a bishop I don't rely on status effects, so I wouldn't know, but the only ones I find useful are stun, freeze, and poison, and even then, I can live without them.

Nope. Neo City comes with nothing good. It only gives a 7 slot +5 to all stat hat once you complete the entire thing. It's literally a piece of sh'it area.


@Above : The area does take longer than a week to go through. When I said "within a week," I mean within a week amount of time. We did Toukyou boss runs every Saturday and we got through it within a month and a half. Of course, we still haven't defeated Aufheben yet, but other than that, my Japanese friends go to Toukyou boss runs and Core Blaze runs every single week. Future Toukyou isn't one of those areas where it's like, "I've been here for 5 minutes and it's nothing new." It's one of those areas that will be used for a long, long time until something out-does it.

Stop attacking hime for this. She was trying to be helpful. How the hell was she supposed to know there was a difference between Tokyo and City? And she didn't say we would be getting an NLC update next patch, though she did phrase her sentence so poorly that it's difficult to tell. Regardless she was trying to do something good to raise spirits so get off her back. She did far more than she is obligated to do in this situation.

If you have every skill you need, and you can boss fine, there is little reason to keep leveling, and that's fine. You don't need to keep leveling unless you really want to, if you wanna get to 200, go for it.

Don't yell at other people for your lack of inspiration. If you don't want to level and can't think of any reason to do it then that's on you, no one else. We're not obligated to provide you with anything. If you don't have a reason to keep leveling then DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT. If you don't want to keep leveling then there's no reason for it even to be on your mind. Your reasons should be your own personal reasons. You're missing the point, my response apparently attacked at the argument that few people can even go there (I even quoted it!) because apparently it can and will be an inspiration for people to train and get higher, which gives it a meaning of existence. I gave up on leveling long ago but I do think I will pick it up again JUST for Neo Tokyo. I don't need any reason to keep leveling, I just find it ridiculous that just because there is 5% of the population that has access to Neo Tokyo, it automatically restricts the remaining 95% from EVER trying to.

Does this "95% of people" everyone keeps throwing out there even give a dam about leveling to 70 and above? Why the hell should a company cater to a lower lvl set if they wont even take the liberty to use the ease of leveling that is already present? Its like keeping an vegetated person alive while they create a massive medical bill, it leads no where, and no where good. If Neo Tokyo was released, Im sure there would be more leveling on all levels of playing, and not just from those who are close to being able to partake in the area at present. There would have to be an uptick in lower levels leveling because they wish to try the area out as fast as they can. Of course a large portion wont make it, because they are the ones already catered to with all this low level content that they barely use to level in the first place.

Then one cocknugget comes in, says he feels like this game shouldn't even have anything added to it, because it is free and Nexon shouldn't have to extend any services to us because it isn't their job and they aren't making any money at all. We should also consider donating to Nexon and eventually take over server maintenance so we can make sure the game stays up for us. God knows what will happen if we ask too much.

@ John: I didn't even start listing all the mid xx contents that nobody even knows about anymore. That is, it's not even counting in the Pirate ship PQ thingy that we haven't yet gotten. Is it too much to ask for something to do after passing 15x? It's already there, all Nexon has to do is Ctrl + C and Ctrl + V like they have always done before. Sure, it's either Japanese or South-east-Asian (I'm not going to call that language English) but I'd rather take THAT over Neo City.

I don't see why not, Kaede castle was released before Neo/New Tokkietown was ever released... Nexon America can just release Kaede Castle for World Tour... it's not that hard to do...
