RAGE AHOy
When exactly were the Durability neo weapons included?

Were they after evan or before? Because if they use them in the next patch, then Neo coity may not be that bad Big Grin
Zendaine Wrote:We already have plenty of areas you can go to for levels 75-100, which are the levels Neo City are for. We do not have nearly as many areas for 140+ which Neo Tokyo is made for. Even though Neo City can be used by more people than Neo Tokyo can be used by, the same could be said for when 4th job was coming out. I can't remember the exact numbers, but it was something like five thousand Maplers in GMS above level 120 and everyone was begging for 4th job.

All Neo City is good for is cards it seems like to me and will be become another overlooked area after the initial buzz is over. However, Neo Tokyo would be used even after the initial buzz is over. While Neo City's usefulness runs out at around 100, Neo City's usefulness never runs out once you get the level for it.

Not to mention all of the equipment that had a much lower level requirement than Neo Tokyo itself that you could make or use; those alone would have gotten far more use than either of the areas themselves; that I can guarantee.

And that is... Story? You have it here. Challenge? You have plenty already released. New equips? Beat Pink Bean, and get a timeless.

In fact, enemies and grinding is the only thing you want. Because, tell me, if you have the same thing, but weaker... What's the difference? At least, use YOUR common sense before answering. I accept any answer, but think it first at least.

Would you rather have 10 rolls of quarters or 10 rolls of plastic quarters? They're the same thing, what's the difference right?

...Actually, personally; I wanted the better equips, bullets and the circlet. Your rebuttal isn't worth a grain of salt on that mark; the 1h sword completely dominates the Timeless version, and there is no substitution for the ammunition or the circlet.

"Enemies and grinding are the only things that I want"? Sorry, slick... while I may want better areas for grinding, that's not the only thing to think about.

As for challenge... pink bean is the only real thing that we have, and even it has an artificial limit imposed upon it. Neo Tokyo would fit that purpose much better, as well.

Please, "use YOUR common sense before answering. I accept any answer, but think it first at least(sic)"
I dunno....I mean, the source isn't even really confirmed...

Don't worry about responding to Dilbert. His logic is infallible and he knows what he doesn't know so... you know. And even if you don't know, he knows.

Whoosh.
I'm calling BS on this source.

I mean, look at this other link.

Since when did we get Groundhogs day events?

Hopefully, but really... it's Nexon of America. We should leave our expectations low.

You seem to have all this anger against how horrible Nexon America is doing in terms of content, and their lack of attention to your personal needs. You've continued to play "since day one."
It takes a stupid person to do a stupid thing.

Even if we're not getting something better, at least it's new for us. You'll either explore and continue to play, or learn to quit.
It's so easy for some to forget that MapleStory isn't the best game or run by the best company.
dilbert Wrote:What good is Maker? It just held our attention for a few weeks!

Nice try, but Maker is infinitely more useful than Neo Tokyo will ever be. Maker is a utility that all people over 45 can use, Neo Tokyo is useless for everyone who cannot go there. Nothing there affects anyone outside of the level range. We already have a steady supply of 30atk stars, and even then, both the bullets and stars probably have less than desirable drop rates. The equips take forever to get, collecting items with low drop rates that's even worse than trying to forge Crimson weapons. Having Neo Tokyo will not gaurantee that you'll get your fancy 115 weapons. I'm not saying Neo City is necessarily better than Neo Tokyo, but it does help a lot more people, I'm sure there are more people between 70 and 100 than there are between 140 and 200.

Really? Did you completely miss this event, which says exactly what that link says? The groundhogs day event was pink beans shadow.

Discredited your discredit.

1: Who says that I've played consistantly?
2: "Personal needs"? Oh god, another fool that can't grasp basic logic.
3: Those of us that actually realize that don't forget, we simply get lured back by people who don't realize it, or don't care.

Sheesh. I might as well be posting on Basil, with this level of stupidity.

The Pink Bean event.

Edit - Ninja'd, should have known better than to respond to that when I haven't refreshed the page for about 10 minutes.

1: Sarcasm; learn it. Both do little more than allowing players to get better equipment.
2: Again, more ignorance. Even if you never stepped once into Neo Tokyo, you could buy the equips from others who had from the FM, and, guess what? The equips are a much lower level than Tokyo itself.
3: You could synth the stars and bullets without a lot of effort, or buy them from those that could. Though, it's the bullets that matter here.
4: Funny, I've heard from several people playing jMS that synthing the swords isn't anywhere near as bad as the Crimson weapons in gMS.
5: Neo City doesn't "help" anybody.

And honestly, you're fucking stupid for arguing this, especially since it means that we'll most likely not get the Ninja Castle, either, and lose Jipang and Showa, as well. We lose out on so much by NoA taking this path that it is ridiculous.
Dilbert and Takebacker, it seems like all you two have been doing this whole thread is crying and bawling about what we don't have. Maybe you shouldn't count your chickens before they hatch. And Dilbert, you seem to be worried about logic. Well, I have some logic for you: usually if there is something you don't like, you don't use it. Well, apparently you don't like the way Nexon America is running things, so... here's a novel idea: you don't have to play this game! There are plenty of people who do, and don't complain, like myself. I know you're upset, but Nexon Korea has explicitly stated that they haven't forgotten about high-leveled players. It can probably be interpreted as a new high level zone coming soon.

Again, sure you have a right to complain. But really, all of this raging and complaining is honestly falling on deaf ears. Besides, the nerfed zone should have been mostly expected, as we (for the most part; exception being Mushroom Shrine/Showa) follow kMS' patching.

If this really isn't enough to satisfy you, make a new character. Assuming you haven't tried all of classes to an extent (I mean getting them high enough leveled to truly get a feel for them). You can work on the new character, and when new high-leveled content does come our way, go back to your other character.
"bawling"? Is that like redneck bowling or something?
Takebacker Wrote:"AW COOL YOU MEAN IF I GET TO X LEVEL I CAN FIGHT IN A FUTURISTIC TOWN WITH ROBOTS AND STUFF TRYING TO TAKE OVER THE WORLD? I'M IN"

Greatest quote of your life.

Also go neo city, god knows everyone just gets to 120 then makes a new character, I think nexon is gonna time it so that when the average player gets to 120 they release a new class for you to do it again.
My only problem with Neo city is that they crushed the story. Nothing makes sense.
I mean, if you destroy Aufheben at 2216, why she's back in 2230? And if you destroy it at 2230, why there's still war in 2503?
Sincerely, nothing makes sense. Also... turning Captain Mary Chas; who helps the leader of the squad; into a woman who cleans up the office? And putting a quest that she asks you to get her a new apron?
Seriously, if they only nerfed the monsters, it would be fine. But they destroyed the whole point of it. Also... Dida, the one that got "killed" by Marverick robots, with guns. Is now scared with Cherry Flavoured Slimes?
They're making towns for 120- because they want you to start over and over, every six months for a brand new job. And of course, buy some CS stuff with the amazing separate storage feature.

Now, let me puke after seeing that.
