Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread

How much does he want to buy the BoP top for? I'm willing to give a discount for him, or I can just mail him and ask him myself.

If you have the NX for a monthly shop, don't NPC ANYTHING, not even equipment. The equipment can be grinded up into cubes that can be be sold for twice the gold you can get for NPCing. Example: Equipment costs 2,800 gold. Grind it up and get ~18 clear cubes. Each clear cube can be sold for ~300 gold each, for ~5,400 gold total. It really adds up, and the cube are also used for your strongest skills.

Watch out for any equipment that's green or purple. Those are the valuable goods.

Seriously, don't NPC anything, not even materials. Anything you pick up can be sold for money. It also helps to at least upgrade your safe once or twice so you can store away excess junk.

Is that what the disassemble thing that can only be used in dungeons is?
How do you use that?

I felt like coming here and venting some frustration but really I'm just...depressed. It's impossible to deny, no matter how hard I try. This game is just not meant for solo players in high levels. These 41-45 dungeons and quests have really kicked my butt. Sure, I've managed to do most of them, but what's the point? I'm down to the last ones, and I'm starting to run out of pots. I had such a nice collection built up... Spent the whole day today getting killed by Michelle and that Slayer f'aggot. Over and over. Trying to find those frickin' books for Iris and I waste several hours, all of my daily tokens, over a hundred pots and I still only have 2/3 of them. And of course I get pathetic exp for each run because I can't defeat Michelle. Finally get tired of it and go to work on the Labyrinth some more, and that idiot cuts me down. It's not fun anymore. It's not fun needing help either.

Just...ugh. It's a really defeated feeling. It's not a motivating challenge that pushes me to my limits. It's just...why am I even trying? And it will only be much worse from 50-60. You pretty much have to play this game with others. Can't even go play my Battle Mage instead because I HATE her and she's even WORSE solo. Sucks I couldn't get my friends to play this game with me.

We need to be given 10-20 tokens a day and that retarded Frustration thing needs to be removed. I've wasted hours today waiting for my stamina to return. Oh, and all my skill's cooldowns need to be removed. I hate Mega Drill, too. I was looking forward to that skill and it just plain sucks. Now on top of everything, I'm rethinking my build.

Anything else I can complain about? I should go back to console games.

If every dungeon was soloable, the game would be too easy because you could just party and own every dungeon.

Well, every dungeon we have is soloable. Only a couple are tough on Normal/Expert, but I'm always on Master/King (usually no choice when it comes to quests). Still not my point, though. I'm just complaining because I hate being defeated. You don't have to explain anything to me. DFO is a great game, and it's even pretty well made. The whole point of MMORPGs is interacting with other players. lol

Wow. Just completed the Samm Jang and Rocket Man on King's quests. I was holding off on those because I thought they'd be tough. Really easy. I'm surprised how much easier they were than on Master's just because of a couple level ups. Awesome. Didn't even need Tokens.

Anyone free today and want to help me with what I have left in Verderia? I'm tired of getting raped by Michelle. I need help with the escort quest. Even on Normal Mode, I can not kill Michelle fast enough to prevent that retard from getting himself killed. Escort + Books and I'll be caught up on everything (besides Labyrinth) again.

For the escort, all you need is a few summoners to tank all the damage for Neil. He's a moron and the chaos trump that you get from his quest is the same thing. Occasional Steyr, walk into the enemies face.

Up for running through any dungeons for the rest of my fatigue. I'll probably just be grinding Keep/Lair/Catacombs solo until 50 anyway. Some training parties would be nice to mix it up.

I think today was probably my luckiest day of drops.

As you can tell, I wasn't even expecting to get a Bamboo Bracelet. I didn't even know that they can come from cards at Castellan's Chamber. I also got Comet Silk Trousers and a Felon Incubi Belt(Level 40 Belt for a level 45 set for Soul Benders) on my Grappler. Real happy.

Been playing a different character when my Exo runs out of fatigue from farming Floating Castle.







Also, sold the Blades of Purity top. Happy times. Now I only got STR shoes left to sell.

Ugh. I've been doing Catacombs like all day today to try and finish up this quest. Apparently the boss of this place drops the Death Dragon Eye needed to complete this SP book quest, but I've killed him like 6 times on kings today with no luck. ;_;

On one of my runs I was even greeted with this bullshi't right before the boss:

PvE/PvP Lion set is complete. I got what I needed from this event. Best $50 spent. Can't say I ever got this much good stuff gold-wise from Avatar Gacha with $60.

Star in the Sky top was 10m, and the 5% speed shoes were 25m. Funding to get these 2 avatars were from selling off the Lion avatars I didn't need. Successful event is successful.

Of course I still have my cowboy set for my other Priest characters, and if I want to fight in style.

Don't worry. GSD will basically be escorting you. He tears everything apart even with that garbage weapon that he's using. Just go into Dragon's Nest on Kings, throw your DFO into windowed mode and let GSD do the rest.

Even though, at level 24, I STILL CAN'T FREAKING GET DRAGON'S NEST ON KINGS. SERIOUSLY. I'VE DONE IT 50 MILLION TIMES, NEVER GETTING HIT AND COMPLETING EVERY SINGLE ROOM, AND EVERY TIME I GET A FREAKING A. A FREAKING 75/140 EVERY SINGLE TIME.
