The water starter is a little weird, but the final evolution isn't bad at all. I just don't entirely like the idea the grass starter is a peacock. Overall, more appealing than the 3rd and 4th gen starters. Almost comparable to the 2nd gen starters.

..lol?
3rd gen starters were fairly good. These don't even look like pokemons. They resemble real life animals too much.

"I want to believe" was a dead give away that they're fake...
You make me cry, SP.

Steel eevee? Rock eevee? Ground?
all 17 types will be covered. I can see it nao. BombsAway Wrote:They should really switch up their beginner types. I'd like to see a dark/metal/psychic starter set. That combination doesn't work, because Dark is IMMUNE to Psychic. In fact, the only possible tri-weakness-combinations in the game are Fire/Rock/Steel, Rock/Fighting/Flying, and Grass/Poison/Ground.

Torterra is grass. My money's on Mr Earthquake.

Aw pomegranate those new starters look pretty sweet. I might be getting into Pokemon if they turn out alright.
WTO> Grass/Psychic Peacock. Make it happen, Nintendo.

Spoiler
I wouldn't mind seeing these as starters.

Spideyjvc Wrote:Gen 2 was the easiest Pokemon game in existence.Somewhat off topic, but this is kind of what I thought after I beat Platinum. Platinum was the first Pokemon game I'd owned and played since Ruby back in 2005, and after I'd beaten the Elite Four (and I did end up beating that extra Battle Road stuff or whatever it was called), I realized that I'd done it with a relatively underleveled team, at least, compared to my older games. RBY of course required all my Pokemon to be rare candy glitched (lol), GSC I was like 10 levels above, RSE was the same; this time around, I'd managed to beat the Elite Four and Cynthia with only Torterra and Bronzong above level 45.
my Platinum team, just cause
I've made it a challenge to, whenever I play a new Pokemon game, try to beat the Elite Four and most of the mid-to-late gym leaders with an underleveled team, meaning a well planned-out moveset. Should be fun.
