Japanese MapleStory Anzu Server HAS DEFEATED PINK BEEN!
The ranges I have no idea if they're buffed or clean. The HP range is definitely clean.

But if they're clean, I'd be very surprised how they did it.

she means the using a bucc to stand uder ariel (where monster spwn point is) and use barrel. this will cause monster to agro to this person and since barrel has no hit box (or something like that i am not sure) it wont attack, pretty much working like lag hacks used to work.

Their damage ranges, although good, aren't really that big of a deal. It doesn't matter what your damage range is if you can't survive for longer than 10 seconds.

I predicted that PB would never be killed because I didn't think there would be a concentration of people in any server anywhere with that much HP. Obviously I was wrong. Still, this is the kind of HP totals, power, and wheels it takes to kill PB. Our Windia group attempted it last night, and even without the Barrel glitch everything went pretty damn well, but only one person in our whole group has enough HP to survive 19k damage with HB. The comments some of you made about Windia are appreciated, but it's mathematically impossible for most of the 1st gen Windians to get enough HP to fight PB like jMS just did. Good luck, everyone else. Although I guess it doesn't take luck... just money and time.

I had heard jMS was the land of high damage and massive washing but I never expected it ot be to this extent.

Thank you, knew something was wrong when it didn't say Nexon Points and everything was in Chinese characters. I didn't bother attempting to read the screenshot and figured somewhere along the lines they changed the in game currency name to "NEXON points" similar to how we changed Nexon points into "NX" in GMS. Picked the first image off google and just posted it.

Glad they're not $1 each.

Well, that's kind of assuming pinning to the left is the only way to go about it. I seriously doubt that that's what the kMS designers intended (although it's pretty hard to tell by this point), but if that's the only solution then a combination of updated threaten and energy drink spam should allow pretty much every night lord to survive that way.

Not every nightlord. I ran with them last night on my friend's NL because she is over 18x and I chose damage over HP (my NL is 17 lvls away from 180 so that's huge penalty). Her NL has about 6.2k HP. Best HP I got with a drink on her NL was 16k which allowed me to live for like 15 seconds till I died again in last phase. I believe with a few 8k hp NL's and more of those drinks being available, it can happen. One of my friends in the run, her nl has about 8.5k HP and she got 23k HP twice with two of those energy drinks and only reason she died was because the DrK HB'd her once. She was able to survive reflect and pot on time on 23k.

Last Phase I think it's best for DrK's to get SE and go partyless for they wont accidentally HB over pot. Either way there was no real plan on last phase yesterday, it was just about getting there again. It was a lot of fun, hope I can use my NL next time.

By new threaten I mean like the new new threaten, the one kMS just got that we haven't gotten that cuts down physical attack damage by 36%.

I don't think we even considered that when talking about it after the run last night. That would mean taking 6k less damage. That would be doable. I expect us to get those changes in the summer though.

Why would that even matter? The attack that utterly rapes ranged classes is that genesis attack, right? anything else should be fairly easy to survive (barring special statuses, like seduce and w.reflect)

I'm pretty sure that Big Bang does too, but then it can be outranged I'm guessing?

Also how you're going to pin PB when DR is up?

It doesn't cast that when facing right, you'll notice no monster in the game casts areawarning attacks facing right, see grims, thanatos, oblivion guardians, etc.

Barrage, rush, corkscrew, etc. can knockback with 1 damage.

Gratz Japanese MS on defeating Pink Bean.

I don't see the NX lessening their acchievement as they were challeging the tittle of the first group to defeat Pink Bean in 1 hour. However, the thing with pink bean is, after a group defeats it in every server, there'll be nothing left for anybody in those servers to acchieve, thus Pink Bean will become a challenge too expensive t be taken (Just in Wheels of destiny, it looks every attacker needs at least 100 of them. For what? even if you kill it, it seems the best drops are the RoT's, GL sharing that between 30 ppl).

On the other hand, I hope those f'uking pets never make it to GMS. Making it a must for every one to have 3 of those and feed them with cash food to get them all to lvl 30 and get that boost sounds like the crappiest idea ever.

Nope, its range is larger than that of an Archer. But yes, it does only hit one direction.

I hope they make PB the "absurdly hard sidequest boss", like Ozma in FFIV, Sephiroth in Kingdom Hearts, etc.; and make later boss fights more epic, not harder.

when u say physical atk u mean big bang and genesis? wouldnt those be magic atks? if they dont get reduced with threaten then it only helps melee classes and its useless for range.

Touch and big bang are physical, genesis and treble clefs are magic (go figure).
