It may be the shortest month, but February is long on fun! MapleStory is bringing a bit of sunshine to a dark and cold winter with three exciting Web events!
1. Pink Bean’s Shadow
It’s a Maple World superstition that you can tell when winter is over by the number of Pink Bean sightings. We mean to put that to the test. We want your screenshots of the elusive Pink Bean outside of the Time Temple. If there are more than 200 valid sightings of Pink Bean, winter will be declared over and five randomly chosen winners will receive a MapleStory plushie and 5,000 Maple points. If there are less than 200 sightings, then winter lasts for six more weeks and five randomly chosen winners get 5,000 Maple Points.
Submitted screens must meet the following criteria:
- A valid “Pink Bean sighting” consists of the actual monster itself as well as its likeness on costumes, pets, pillows, etc. outside the Time Temple.
- Submitted screenshots should consist of the entire game screen including the game’s user interface and character name.
- No altering, cropping or tampering with images is allowed. Altered screens will be automatically disqualified.
- If you are chosen as a winner, your account must not have any ban history.

2. Be My Valentine
You know you’ve always wanted to say it and really, what better day to tell that special someone how you feel than Valentine’s Day? Just make a real-life Valentine for a MapleStory NPC, take a picture of it to send to us and shout your feelings to the world! Any creative expression of love is welcome including (but not limited to) drawing, writing, sculpting, or even baking. Follow your heart and let love be your guide!
We’ll pick the best images for some terrific prizes:
The best picture as judged by Nexon will win:
· An SD memory card
· 10,000 Maple points
· A MapleStory “King Pepe” plushy toy!
Four other winners will also receive 10,000 Maple Points.

3. Maplers Gone Wild!
Laissez les bons temps rouler! Let the good times roll! It’s Mardi Gras in Maple World and we want to see your wildest MapleStory video! This contest is simplicity itself. Just create a video showing off the craziest thing you can think of in Maple World. Submitted videos must meet the following criteria:
- Video cannot be longer than five minutes.
- Your character name and world name must be clearly visible in the video.
- Your account must not have any ban history.
All valid video entries will receive 5,000 Maple Points.
The best video as judged by Nexon will win:
· A Best Buy gift card worth $100 U.S.
· 100,000 Maple points
· A MapleStory “King Pepe” plushy toy!
We don’t know what you’re going to do, but make sure it’s crazy! Just don’t forget to capture it all and upload it to YouTube for the world to see!
