Yeah, it's a drop from the boss. I got it my first try, though.
v It's a single-part quest from that Bucken dude in Aphelia Post. He talks about this guy that was sent into the Catacombs and he wants you to find him or something. He got killed by the dragon. You collect remains from him/his clothes/whatever and show Bucken. He's like lolcrap, and that's it.

What quest is this? I thought I did them all but I don't remember anything about an ambassador.

How do I find the Sigun guy for the Mage - Summoner advancement? I looked all around in Shadow Thunderland, but couldn't find him.
Nevermind. Found him.

Finally got back to DFO and gave Samm Jang another try.
How do you like me now, whore? Unfortunately, there's still the defeat Samm Jang on King's quest. Excellent.
And yes, that is a Hunter coming out of Samm Jang's dead body.

And yet another boss claims all of my tokens...this time it was Rocket Man. I can avoid his attacks easily enough, but hitting him faster than his regen is another matter. Permanent superarmor + firing every couple seconds makes it really hard to do damage to him. I couldn't even get half a bar off of him.

Yea, he was a pain even for my broken ass gear. There's a reason he's supposed to be a mid-50s boss.

I never had a problem with him. Smasher breaks superarmor and then he doesn't superarmor again until he uses his rockets. Hurricane + Shadow Boxer takes care of the rest.

I am shocked at how easy you say a 50+ boss is when you're only 43 Fiel. On the other hand, that's probably silly of me to say that when I have Smasher as well as Star in the Sky that I can use to break Rocket Man's Super Armor. I'll find out when I get to him before I declare him hard or not, or that Monks are strong.
Speaking of Monks, how's playing a Monk, Fiel?

Me neither. Broken florae circle and hit and run techniques are all I need to destroy him. That, and a chair. Also 3rd tier spells, those are great.

There is some serious BS going on in Scoria Core. Twice now (out of the three times I've been in there) my ability to loot, pot and use cube skills has been completely locked up. I'm still able to use all of my non-cube skills, change rooms, kill monsters and take damage/lose MP. So I know it's not lag. However, being unable to pot and use my top-tier skills results in me dying (big surprise). I'm also unable to use a Token when this happens. I am getting very tired of wasting fatigue and pots all for nothing.
Someone mind explaining what the hell is up? And no, I never use the quest helper. Don't even touch it. So far, the only lead I have is it might have something to do with this mysterious "sparkly" thing that appears on the floor in some rooms. It is not an item, but you can attempt to loot it (character bends down into loot position). Nothing happens, and then you can't try looting it again. The sparkle remains. I am starting to think picking up that sparkle is what locks me. Any other insight into this matter?
Oh, and I have to switch chars/log off to fix the problem. I'm going to try another Core run soon and avoid the sparkle crap.
I don't know what causes it to drop. The last run I tried (successful) I didn't even see any. Just like my first time in Core. Maybe the sparkles have nothing to do with it, but I don't know what else could be causing it. This exact kind of lock up has never happened in any other dungeon.

It's a bug. If you pick up the sparkly thing, you are unable to pot/use cube skills/token/pick up items. You have to be careful about looting items. If you stand over an item, and it highlights, it's safe to pick up. If it doesn't, don't pick up. It's demonstrated here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k4_CpGQLDGI

Thanks for the confirmation. Figured it was the sparkles.
Also I'd like to take this time to say Scoria Core sucks. It didn't take long to earn my "Worst Dungeon in DFO" award. Can someone name me ONE good thing about it? Let's review:
1) Worst selection of monsters. EVER.
- Burning Fiends. No explanation needed.
- Soul Eaters. Like having MP? Too bad. They're also a huge SCREW YOU to magic users.
- Skull Throwers. As if we weren't sick of these long-range stun spamming f'aggots from Shallow Keep.
- Oleg. Skull Thrower 2.0. Now with burning balls of doom.
- Merciless Ones. Who ISN'T SICK OF THESE GUYS ALREADY?
- Adors. The less annoying form of Naias, but it's still a Spirit. Suck my plantain.
- TITANS. Who honestly likes fighting these guys? Fire titan summons a ton of monsters, repeatedly (including Soul Eaters!). Hax titan loves to use a net like a Fighter and then proceed to rape you. And think you got him almost dead? Think again. Now he'll hax his speed up to MAXIMUM and savagely rape you. And of course, Titan titan. You get hit once by his MEGA PUNCH and you're probably gonna get stunned and then killed. Having fun burning pots.
2) Worst quests. EVER.
- Collect 100 (yes, ONE HUNDRED) Tatters from the Titans. This forces you to do Core many times. Much more than any sane person would want to.
- Kill tons of Burning Fiends and Olegs. Awesome. If it I wasn't here for the TATTERS quest anyway, this would be just as annoying.
- Clear Core on Kings. Without using a Token. Yeah, I hate you too, DFO. This game is designed AGAINST soloers, especially us weaker classes.
- I'm not even sure what the final part of the Epic chain is yet, but if it ends up being gay, I won't be surprised.
3) BURN STATUS.
- Fire pits that inflict it everywhere.
- Have Summons? TOUGH LUCK. Your Summons LOVE to take a dip in the fire and start on FIRE. That's fine and dandy, except then they love to HUG you and burn you to death. It turns into a game of "Run the hell away from your own Summons."
4) Tiny rooms.
- Come on, really? As if it wasn't bad enough fighting the Titans, Soul Eaters and Burning Fiends in a compact space. Three giant, overpowered boss titans in one small room. It's lovely.
And the music isn't even that enjoyable. The only redeeming factor I can possibly force myself to admit is that Titan titan loves to attack his allies. I can usually let him kill monsters for me. He's more helpful than harmful in the final boss fight. Thank God.
I will strip down and do a happy dance when I am free from this dungeon.
---
HAHAHAHA, OH WOW.
Wow you were really not kidding. I was at full HP when I walked in there, and I died instantly. I did not even have time to use one skill. Hilarious. This game is so stupid. And I'm supposed to kill them on King's? Hahahaha.
lol Now this is just amusing. I think I'll go back to Core.

Big hint for Cartel agents. Nen Master, Elementalist (with ice wall (Not me)), Summoner. Also, one manteau and their moving shots are dead. Just don't solo that place and it'll be fine.

Ugh, just encountered Sewer Princess Farris for the first time and got completely owned. I was doing the daily and thought I had one more room to go before I'd encounter her.

I so mad. I've been trying to find Ceremonial Rosary Beads (one of the new advanced avatars) that give attack speed and I CAN'T. I've been scanning the market like 10 times a day every day for the past five days or so.
What makes it really suck is that I don't feel like training my Monk until I'm done upgrading. :<

I actually LOVED that dungeon, despite my buffs being dispelled constantly (I am squishy as hell without Keiga). The burning fiends are just...stupid, and not being able to use Saya most of the time is frustrating, but I worked around it. The only parts I have trouble with are the net titan (remedied by using a Holy Grail or w/e it's called that boosts status resist by absurd numbers) and getting randomly smacked into the lava. Overall it's very melee centric and I enjoyed the level of challenge. If not for the dispel spamming Soul Eaters and Titan, I'd be running that dungeon exclusively for experience now that I'm 46.

lolololololololololol
I am totally getting the Priest furry package just for the "Jesus Christ it's a lion get in the car!" moments. My only concern though is how random the stats on the avatars will be. But on the other hand, it's a guaranteed 5 advanced avatars, so what have I got to lose? I already spent $60 on tokens only to get 2 Advanceds.

Oh yeah, I unlocked King's Frozenheart. Feels good man.
The Striker got lucky. I had to congradulate her for it.
I was invited to a Ryuku Point Master's Run out of the blue without ever stepping foot into Ryuku Point and S-ranked it, so I jumped head-in to King's Road as my first SOLO run of the place. I hated the Goblin Commanders and the elite Bantu people because I was trying to abuse my superarmored cube moves, which didn't always work out very well because for these Ryuku Bantu Warriors in comparison to the The Ridge ones, one touch/grab and my health quickly drops. Inside the cave was much better, even if Wacky Lim Lim was annoying as heck.
