Pokémon Sunday Announcement

Pokémon Sunday has just revealed the announcement that many of us have been anticipating. Jun'ichi Masuda appeared on the show and formally revealed the first sihlouette of a fifth generation Pokémon, which Jun'ichi Masuda said to be Z from the movie, with thanks to yaminokame for that note. No further details were given but expect them soon, with Pokémon Sunday indicating the reveal will be on February 21st, meaning we may get further details in CoroCoro next week.

Until Next Time, See Ya

there is even a pic but as some know serebii doesnt allow to hotlink images

it looks like a sandslash evolution, wich is awesome!

I wonder how the 5th gen will be

Hopefully it will have better starters than 4th gen had.

It looks like it has webbed feet, so I doubt it's Sandslash. Besides, sandslash is awesome the way it is.

Nah, those aren't webbed feet. It's just standing on it's toes very awkwardly. I believe 100% that it's a lucario evolution. The thin joints and overall body form look lycanthropic.

It's possible, but the uppper body is too bulky to be Lucario-y. Maybe it's an entirely new pokemon altogether.

Yeah, probably Lucario. They seem to like him a lot anyways.

His upper body isn't THAT big, most of it is just hair by the looks of it. Not to mention that it's an evolution so if it is lucario, they're gonna be pumpin' him up.

It looks very fox-like to me. What other Pokemon are fox like? xP

Am I the only one that suspects that that is simply the fire type evolution?

Was it confirmed to be a new evolved form of an existing pokemon?

Because it doesn't have to be.

Looks like a crappy hedgehog/lycanthrope/werewolf fusion.

They've gone evolution-happy, so I'd expect a bunch of new evolutions like 4th gen. If it is, we can guess. If it's not, we really can't do anything. :/

Lucario is fine as he is, why buff him up?

Why evolve magmar and electabuzz? why evolve chansey? why evolve rhydon? why evolve magneton? why evolve lickitung? why evolve tangela?

getting the point?

Lucario is comparable to Eletrivire and w/e Magmar evolves into, stat wise. He's way above Chansey, Magneton, Lickitung, and Tangela. Rhydon is meh.

Around 8 extra evolutions. Oh wow. Out of the what, hundreds that are already out? It's not like it'd be new to see a brand new Pokemon.

My question is what are the legends going to represent. They already released god, so what else is there?
