its well known that avg thinks maple is a virus due to the encryption they use to protect the wz files. the only ways i know of to prevent all this pain is to either go into avg's ignore list and add your maplestory files and go to the virus vault to restore the ones it "deleted" or change to a different virus scanner/firewall.
personally i'd go with microsoft security essentials, its free and doesn't cause the mini lag spikes i get with avg

switch to microsoft security essentials or avast. both are better than avg.

If AVG "deletes" maplestory.exe, because of the themidia32 encryption, just go to AVG's virus vault and set it back that way (restore), AVG never totally erases the file from your PC. If you choose to put it back that way, the file is automatically accepted as "safe" in the future, that is, in that specific folder, while keeping your maplestory folder still protected from real viruses!

Avast sucks way too much, and it's simple enough just to make AVG ignore the fake virus just as previousky stated.
