Yes, the movie is old, the song is old, etc. etc. I just saw it for the first time all the way through last night and lo and behold, when this song came on (as O-ren and krew are heading up to their private room), I noticed (as many should), the vast similarities between the Hideout's BGM in Showa and this track.

Specifically, they start right around 0:40.

OMG O-REN YAKUZA = ANEGO?!?!?
