Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread
Just......... ugh.

Vangelis on King's........... his health regen is ridiculous. I blew so many potions trying to take him down, but the fight took so long that my fully repaired weapon has 1 point of durability left and he had 4 bars left. Looks like I need to upgrade to something better. A Fairy Scythe just isn't cutting it. This really bums me out, that I met my first boss that I just can't beat. Damn you Vangelis on Kings. Damn you. Again, he's not hard per se, but the fact he lasted long enough that my weapon broke made him evil/unbeatable.

*Now that I think about it though, I DID use a Battle Axe that I bought in the market (I had it with me for PvP purposes) instead of a Scythe for Masters Vangelis. I had a 33% increase in my base attack (from 612 to ~800), which really made my special attacks hurt a lot. Guess Vangelis has a chance of being beatable on King's, but I will try again tomorrow.
First Spine taught me to always carry a backup weapon -- doesn't matter what it is just have something for damage.
I always fully repair at the end of each run 99% of the time (yes there's been that 1% where I suddenly head into a dungeon and find out in the middle of it that my weapon is about to break) so I never really needed a backup weapon. Also, that Battle Axe is really heavy, taking up a lot of space weight. Adding in my heavy armor, I can only carry ~16 kg of equipment per run with the axe. I don't have a +weight torso avatar yet, and I really need those equipment drops for the cubes. Frown
Ok I don't get it why do people solo all the time? I mean its an MMO your supposed to play with people plus it makes it easier

Challenge, fun, avoiding problems from "randumbs"
Vangelis IS possible solo on kings, just extraordinarily difficult.

No. I don't need other people to make something fun. DFO is great alone. It just sucks that not everything can be soloed. Partying with a friend is fun, too, though. I've only partied with people I didn't know once (to help with Lotus Spawn), and I didn't really enjoy it.
I guess I am just different....

Speaking of, if you need a helping hand with anything once I'm 45, give me a holler.
I've partied a few times already, but I feel as if it gets boring. Being a Mage (soon-to-be Summoner) I feel as if I'm near worthless in a party compared to some of the stronger classes.
Partying gives me less exp per fatigue point. I haven't used over 3 tokens in one day in quite a while now that I buy pots from others.

You can ask me too, I'm level 44, probably 45 by the end of the day. I wish I could get to 46 so I can equip michelles oath, that chair looks freaking AWESOME!
I don't really care if it gives less fatigue I personally think its boring to do stuff alone and its more fun to have other people be that and be socail
Need feedback on the corniness of these names that I reserved for future classes:

1 Gunner: MoreDakka (Launcher)
2 Priests: TheKenshiro and CombatMedic (Monk + Crusader; someone already ninja-ed Kenshiro)
2 Slayers: BFGreatSword and PlateCaster (Berserker + Asura; BFSword, MagicKnight and MagicWarrior were taken)
1 Fighter: TwinsofSteel (either Grappler or Striker, can't use "Boob" in a name as in BoobsofSteel)
1 Mage: SquishyLoli (most likely Elementalist; GlassCannon has "ass" in it)

I don't entirely care on serious names since my Exorcist will remain as my main, so I went for tropy names.
Whee, soloed Odessa Streets on Kings! Great thanks to MasPan who got me into Odessa Kings (I only have masters) and helped in killing that pimento mirror dude. God, finally finished that quest. Brb grinding reward.
Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees the Axe made all the difference.

I also leveled right after. Best level 40, ever.
Congratulations, even though you had to token xD

Is that a challenge I hear?

Well, I only needed to token when the Kenshiro NPC wouldn't leave me alone no matter where I went. Pathing issues, my rear end. He died for making me token, and of course Vangelis soon followed.
No shame in using a Token, man. We gotta do whatever it takes to pull off the tricky solos.

Congrats on the big 40.
Where do you get Bel Myre Ambassador's Tatters from? Is it a rare boss drop or what?
