Hmmm, tough question. With a Mac,i could at least bootcamp and run windows and play maple, but then I would have to deal with the annoyance of it being a mac. But with a linux machine, I would have way better security (like id need it). Id have to go with Mac, it may be annoying at times, but I can at least bootcamp it.
