I gotta jump on this. lol at only going to 50, though. Taking it nice and easy, Nexon.

WOW what a load of f'aggotry. Frickin' retarded. That whore Samm Jang. I HATE Fighter enemies. Why are they always so broken? I burned tons of pots, my last Token and she STILL defeated me. She goes into frickin' perma-Super Armor mode at like 6 HP bars left. I couldn't do ANYTHING to her after that. I was lucky to get her down to 5 bars left. I could no longer air juggle her or fang stun her. So unfair.

BS.

The Catacombs = best dungeon in DFO so far. Awesome. Fun, nice size, lots of neat mini-bosses and a cool stationary boss. The best part, though, is the music. Dark chanting and screaming! Great vibes in that place. Love it.

I disagree. I LOVE Scoria Core. People hate the Soul Eaters, but (and keep in mind I play a Soul Bender, ENTIRELY dependent on my buffs for any kind of decent damage/survival) I love the melee-centric dungeon setup. The lava is a nice hazard that is punishing but avoidable, the monsters are strong but not unbeatable (though Atlas's net spam is obnoxious, and getting stunned by Titan can easily get you killed), and the idea of the 3 titans is fun. About the only thing I don't like are the burning fiends, simply because they have an unavoidable damage aura. Catacombs was a blast though, and a brilliant wakeup call to a lot of the less competent players.

I thought Sky Tower (especially Vestibule of Darkness and Castellan's Chamber) and all of GBL (Arad Branch/Lab/Hatchery) were wakeup calls to the less competent players.

Well that's not to say that Sky Tower and the 3 GBL bosses are hard after figuring out their patterns (as well as hit and runs). I stopped dying to Hydracle the next day after dying at least 1-2 times a run, and I never died to Vangelis yet. He's pot intensive MP-wise, but never died to him. My only gripe is Hughton has too much HP to ever concentrate on him, and his summons have too much HP to take down; I'm going to solo him on King's tonight.
Noob question: How do you get respawn tokens?
y0y0y0y0shi0 Wrote:Noob question: How do you get respawn tokens?

You're given 3 at the start of every new day (when your fatigue resets). You can't go past three with that method, though. If you have two at the start of the day, it will only give you one extra, for example. I often use up my three daily ones per day, though. Might as well (sometimes it's not intentional... lol).

You can also buy them in larger quantities from the Cash Shop. That's pretty lame.
By buying them in the item shop. You get three tokens a day, and can only have a maximum of three tokens given to you for free. The rest you have to buy.

Nevermind. F(uck you, Felix.

There's a difference - sky tower can be overcome with enough brute force leveling or partying - 2 or 3 levels make previously difficult bosses cake. Post 40 dungeons almost demand teamwork and a fair degree of skill/intelligence, and it would take several levels (5+) to notice a difference in difficulty. Frankly put, you can't just spam potions or overwhelming numbers. Sky tower taught players to pay attention, but nowhere near to the same degree. GBL stuff was usually ignored or rushed through, and wasn't overly difficult with a party.

Also, soloing Vangelis on Kings is incredibly difficult. I've done it thrice, and each time has pushed me pretty hard. If you can do it pre-40, I commend you (without tokening I mean). His regen is absurd on kings.

Woot. Level 11. <3
So I just started playing Dungeon Fighter and I'm liking it a lot so far! The amount of depth with the skills, linking skills together and combining different attack tactics has is just amazing.
I don't like how you can't buy your potions though. I'm level 20 and I have no clue how to obtain more potions(besides farming them up doing runs over and over again but so many quests to do...).
Yes! I'm finally finished the chain of quests where you need to escort the world's stupidest level 50 launcher! Guess who he is? Neil the sniper. As in the spitfire skill. Who knew he was so idiotic?

Or attempted glitch abuse. Still, I only managed to finish the masters one with 2 summoners.
ARRGHHHHH! I went to do Tavern Master's solo, figuring Aganzo wouldn't be much worse than the other bosses there. Then I see 14 hp bars.

Oh Pineapple.

Wasted all my tokens getting him down to 4 bars instead of doing the smart thing and leaving the dungeon to come back with a party.

Once my stamina recovered, I decided to try to solo Catacombs instead. Used a bunch of potions, got to the boss, got nailed a couple times by his chain things. I get him down to like 1/3 of his last bar and I DIE.

This. LF>More pots?
I'm running out of mp pots!

Oh, and where can I buy a Silk Armguard at? I looked at DFO Source, but couldn't find it.

I beat Aganzo my first try without any tokens. I used a crapton of pots...but I thought he was pretty easy, especially compared to Samm Jang. I can't do anything against her with her stupid perma-Super Armor. I hate things I can't solo. It's BS.

SPEAKING OF BS. Why the HELL is Ranger McGee so hard to kill? I couldn't figure it out. No matter what I tried he wouldn't die, and he made me waste all of my tokens. Starting to get tired of this crap quite quickly. Odessa isn't even fun, and then there's this little f'aggot Gunner wannabe. How do you kill him solo? I was only on Expert and the entire fight he stayed on his 4th bar, despite constant attacking.

The Champagne quest is the best way to get a constant supply of potions.

At your level you should hit every tree in dungeons hoping for berries (forgot the exact names but there are two different types). Once you get 5 berries, you can exchange them at Suisha (elf in the tavern) for a few potions.

Silk Armguards are bought from Lorianne if I recall correctly.
Silk Armguard can be bought from Lorianne.

@Felix

Ranger McGee is freaking annoying. He super armors too much, moves up and down way too fast, and just plain out pisses me off as a Ranger. He's damn annoying without a party that's able to hold him for you or do mass damage at once. He interrupts my attacks before I even get most of them off.

Maybe you'll enjoy a quest in Odessa Streets at level 43. It's a quest called Agent 009... and to not ruin the surprise in case you want to find out for yourself, I'll spoiler it.

Yeah, I always hit them in the dungeon. So exchange them for the beer/wine, I take it?

And thanks~

I dunno. I just tried again on Normal and I raped him silly. Hardly blinked an eye. I don't know what he was packing on Expert, but I'm past him now... So who cares.

I dislike anything I can't solo on King's. So far only Catacombs has been fun. Tavern was fun until whore appeared. I'll keep going with Odessa and see what happens... Sounds real "fun" from what you posted.

Okay, I take it back for now. Odessa is hilariously fun in the General Smoke phase. He's a great boss. And the rocket launchers everywhere are a nice touch. Chaotic fun. lol McGee as a non boss (no f'aggotry REGEN) is a pushover.

---

Alright, Odessa did end up being pretty fun. It's a lot better without out that mirror dude in it now. The dungeon flows better. Rocket Man is REALLY weak (like, he can't even hit me) but his REGEN is practically Vangelis/Ryku-tier. But still! I overcame somehow. Pushed me to my limits. I had to constantly stay on his toes, using all of my skills as soon as I could. I was worried at first, but I fell into a nice groove and defeated him. Felt great. And I got an awesome new broom (level 43 Faithful Brush) for my troubles.

So far nothing of the new stuff has stopped me except for SAMM JANG. Three quests (two involving her) left in the Tavern. I'm gonna try tanking her with all three tokens tomorrow.
