Unfunded LUKless Priest in a new world

I'm making a priest in Yellonde. Ordinarily, when people make priests, they go LUKless, and uber funded.

But that's not an option. Neither is transferring equips over, though I'm sorely tempted to do so. So are there any tips to making an unfunded priest/cleric/magician in a world without lama staves? Thanks.

For weapons you can go: Wooden wand (8) >> Yellow Umbrella (40)/Nocturnal Staff (43) >> Black Umbrella (80)

I think the umbrellas are gacha only. But if you can't find any umbrellas, you can stick with the Wooden Wand.

For overall/top/bottom armor:
Get a lv11 top and whatever bottom you want
Switch to bathrobe and/or sauna
100% your overall if you want to
Get/scroll a good INT overall (I'm not sure how much is good )

For hat:
Get whatever hat you want
Get a black bandana
Get a good INT hat/Zhelm when they're available

For shoes:
Whatever shoes you want
Good INT snowshoes

For earrings:
Whatever earrings you want
100% your earrings if you want to
Get well scrolled earrings and stick with those

I'm pretty sure you can't go through the list very quickly until resources are available, and even then you might have trouble affording it.

I did this in Kradia (but I was i/l) and getting that weapon from the NLC quest helped me alot..I can't remember the name. It's like the black maple lama staff.

It should be easier with a cleric though seeing as you only will need hp pots for your magician stage. Also with double exp for three weeks it will make money a bit harder to come by from monsters (unless its double drop too?) but just a wooden wand scrolled with 100%'s can last you for a pretty long time.

I noticed there are a couple of Yellonde LUKless cleric topics around. Maybe you'll find it useful if you look around in those if you haven't already?

I'd think it would cost less money to make a lukless cleric as opposed to making a lukless mage or dexless sin/warrior, etc. I'd imagine in the new world a ton of people being available to PQ with a cleric regardless of his/her magic till third job, and as a priest you'll be more of a support party member at himes/grims/aqua anyway. This is just off my own personal experience which was a long time ago in an already established server, though.

well im making one aswell look in my thread if you need training spots and a good build for the new server since we have 2x 24/7 stuff is a bit diff.
And yes im 100% earrings and my wooden wand.
then getting a yellow umbrella hopefully before 50 which is hen ill get my noc staff.
And then have my black umbrella by 85.

The only thing you need is motivation. If you need money and good equips to be motivated, stay in your own server and make a bishop. Being in the top 100 of a server is what motivates most people in new servers.

Do you play in another server? You could always import crap from another server via MTS?

You transfer by settling up a buying auction for an item you want for like 10 NX cash on your Yellonde character and going on your main and offer your Yellonde character's trade the item. DO NOT PUT IN SELLING FOR CHEAP (people have lost their stuff like that, I merchanted many who do this)

I didn't check MTS yet... is it fully functional in Yellonde?

Trade does not work in Yellonde.

Contrary to popular belief, the lukless magician build is the cheapest build in the game, especially since you're a priest.

Umbrellas and other misc stuff that give magic attack should be cheap in your server since everyone's gachaponning for NPCable items, leaving them with a ton of things they can't sell.
